"Checking in staff was very friendly parking is horrible there was a cockroach in the tub I was immediately changed rooms there's snacks great coffee great area for dining walkable to main area staff always welcoming helped get me a taxi back to airport at 4 am as there is rarely Uber or Lyft available late night or early morning "

"By far the best VRBO our family has rented! Super clean property, super white towels and sheets, property is nicer than the pictures. My teens picked this property because of the 80’s Hawaiian vibe and we loved it, so fun! Great location! The extras like the beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel fins, and games in the property made our trip! Thank you! We will be back!"

"This was our second time staying at the Kona Castle Reef . This oceanfront unit was comfortable, tidy and an excellent layout. Some of the lighting fixtures seemed dated and Could use replacement . Having the bbq’s there as an alternative cooking option was fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again next year and hopefully secure the same unit as we did this time ."

"If you want a private retreat away from the hustle and bustle this is the place! Clean, well maintained, great privacy, and great communication. Really nice patio where birds visit and you can sit sipping your coffee, and gaze into lush tropical surroundings and the sea at the horizon. On the smaller side, so if you want to cook and eat, you will have to work with limited space, a microwave and refrigerator. Otherwise perfect!"

"My seven-year-old twins, and I loved the space. It was cozy and provided very easy access to all the downtown Kona activities. If my kids had their way, they would’ve been in the heated pool 12 hours a day. Marc even provides some of the beach essentials, such as a beach umbrella, cooler and chairs. Highly recommend the space."

"We love staying at Ali'i Villa condos, and Paul's condo was no exception. We love having the washer/dryer, and the designated parking spot. We had everything we needed for our Big Island stay. Paul was so accommodating when we had a little issue while there. He did everything he could do to remedy the situation in a timely and friendly manner. "If you're looking for a no frills beach bungalow, this is the place for you. I loved the beach cottage feel and the location was perfectly nestled across the street from the ocean and near many restaurants and shopping. I especially loved the lobby/office kitty that greeted me upon arrival with purrrrs and greeted me again at check-out. It had a warm and pleasant atmosphere filled with Aloha.🌺"
