"Overall positive experience from this property. Pros: Beautiful cabin in a great location on the Ausable River. Close enough to all of the things you would need or want from your stay while also giving you the privacy you're looking for. Cons: I believe the cleaner did not do a thorough cleaning of the master bedroom which was disappointing. We had to re-wash all of the bedding upon our arrival."

"We stayed here to watch the total solar eclipse. It was the perfect spot! We kept entertained during the day between the game room and hot tub and all sat out on the back deck to watch the sky. We took a day trip into Lake Placid one day. (Note: there are only 3 bedrooms with doors. I thought both bunks were in private rooms but one was in the open downstairs space. Not a big issue with teens, but good to know for future). Only real disappointment was that the sauna didn’t work while we were...

"A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

"Our stay over Memorial Day weekend was excellent. The house suited our family more than adequately and the boys loved they all could move around easily, and of course the hot tub for after our mountain hikes. Location is great, close to everything, as well as hiking trails and has sidewalks. Everything was great, thank you!"

"Every year my family and I visit the Lake Champlain area, and this year we decided to try this home in Port Kent. It was very spacious and clean. The neighborhood is quiet, and it is a pleasant walk to the lake, or to the marsh nature preserve nearby. Port Kent is also close to Ausable Chasm, and to Ausable Brewing Company for that matter. It was a very enjoyable stay here, and plan to return in the future."

"Great place for a family. Convenient to Ausable Chasm, some nice restaurants and a great state day use facility. Great fenced yard and there were s’more sticks which was convenient. Everything felt very clean and the check in was very easy. It was very quiet inside and the WiFi worked very well for streaming Netflix."
