"It is Hydra, and there are some steps to be climbed to get to it either on foot or by donkey, but our kind host Theodora has a gem of a property at which to stay close to town. It is very neat and clean, with a little inner courtyard for eating dinner and visiting with friends, and a roof top area that can be climbed via a narrow stair case with great views of the surrounding neighborhood and Hydra Town. (This was a really nice feature) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend...

"We had a great stay on Hydra, Greece. This accommodation was just right for our family - a very comfortable 2-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. The island of Hydra is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. The owner of the property was very nice and accommodating. We arrived early (before check-in time) and she allowed us to leave all of our luggage in the apartment while they finished cleaning."

"This was such a great place to stay. About 50 yard walk to the sandy beach and the town with shops and restaurants is maybe another 100 yds. Great view and pool was really nice. It doesn't call it out, but it does share the pool with the house to the right as you face the pool. Wasn't a problem as the people were super nice and we really didn't have any overlap issues."

"It is everything listed! The only issue may be how steep the stairs are, but this is not unusual on Hydra or in Greece for that matter. Things are built upward, not outward so there are usually steep stairs at hotels and even restaurants. I only mention it if you have older or weaker members, they may not be able to use the upstairs. My wife and I had no problems though and we're well over 50! Rania is very easy to work with and attentive! Definitely a great place to stay!"

"This stay is one to book. The owners are amazing and meet you at the ferry, help with luggage, everything on the island is on foot. No cars or scooters. Yeah We had the most peaceful and cleanest apartments we have ever been This is a diamond. "

"Wonderful home in a great location on a small, easy island. House is fantastic—clean, spacious, well-apppointed. Amazing views, beautiful pool, great kitchen. Six minute walk to Marathonas beach for swimming, restaurants, good grocery store. Adventurous, fun walk or 10 minute taxi ride to Perdika or Aegina port town. Accommodating hosts, wonderful stay, we hope to be back someday!"

George the owner met us personally, providing us with useful information regarding restaurants, bars, supermarkets, beaches and bike hire. "This house was absolutely ideal. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, meeting us at the ferry and ensuring everything was set up for our comfort. The location of the house is excellent, with its cleanliness and tastefully done decor standing out. This was one of our best stays in a long while, and we are certainly planning to return."

"That was the best hotel i ever stayed. Free upgrade. Hugh room with all facilities (refrigerator, oven, hair dryer, they have even a fire place) The hotel have 2 swimming pools (one is private if you book the 2 specific rooms.) Breakfast it could be little better but still i am very satisfiyed. Highly recommend "

"Not recommended for someone who is not up to the climb, the hotel, situated some distance up from the harbor, was wonderful for us. The location made the stay quieter, and the view lovelier. Mule transport (15 euros each way) made getting luggage in and out reasonably painless. The rooms were beautiful. We are not given to relaxing in hotel rooms much, but the wonderful ambience made us very happy to hang out there. The breakfast was great and the staff vary helpful."

"There was nothing to dislike. The apartment was clean & the kitchen well stocked . It was nicely furnished & we really enjoyed the old pieces of furniture. The owner was very friendly & helpful. He also met us at the ferry & lead us to the apartment which we probably never would have found on our own. We were greeted each morning with freshly baked buns which was a real treat!"
