"The room was ok. Service was ok, friendly. The grounds were unkempt and the grass wasn't mowed. It is sad because the view to the river in the back is amazing. The hotel is dog friendly and solely due to that feature we would book again. My husband cleaned up outside trash before we left. "

"We visit the area once a twice a year to enjoy the amazing fishing that Lake Ontario offers. This is our first time staying at your property. We had a great time! The lakefront back yard was perfect for us to fish between the rain showers and the outdoor firepit was amazing....allowing us to relax and enjoy a couple of beers. I would definitely stay here again!"

"During our stay here, my family and I enjoyed such a beautiful home with a waterview of the lake. The owners we're super nice and quick to answer any questions we had. There was so much space for a big family. Although we stayed there during the winter, we we're still able to enjoy indoor family game time. This was definitely a home to get away from the city life and to reconnect with family. My family and I will definitely try to stay in this home soon again in the summer!"

"The cottage was very clean upon arrival and you can tell they are meticulous with their maintenance of the property. Beds were all comfortable and bathroom was well stocked with towels & tp. "The Bird’s Nest is an amazing property. The location is great with amazing views from every level of the home. The house is fully stocked. The hosts thought of everything. They are extremely responsive and accommodating. We have stayed at a lot of rentals and this one is definitely top notch. We plan to book again in the future."
