"I only stayed one night because of an event in Brainerd. I found it odd that I was asked to deal with my own garbage, but if thats what it takes to stay here again for the same event next year, that is no problem. Communication overload but I understand now since there's no one there checking guests in. Love the security coded door... took me a minute to figure out, but that's human error. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Would recommend to anyone!"

"Gorgeous property and landscaping with beautiful flora and a lot of green space for yard activities. Patio area was great with its lounging furniture, gas fire pit and cooking area (grill, griddle, fridge). Home decor very nice, and can sleep a good number of guests (we wish there had been more plates and bowls to accommodate same). Exceptional, large beach for kids - all sand, no weeds, shallow well beyond the end of the long dock - and we made fun use of the available kayaks, paddle boards,...

"We decided to stay here as it would be enough room for our whole group, me, my husband, his kids, my kids, and our grandkids. There were 13 of us total. We really like this rustic cabin. It is definitely outdated, but that was fine by us as then we didn't have to worry about the grandkids so much. The place was clean and we were spread out a bit in the three different sleeping areas. "We rent a cabin for a week every summer in the Brainerd lake area. Our requirements are they have to have a pontoon and allow pets! These places are not easy to find, but we did find a little piece of heave. It is a beautiful cabin, nice pontoon and a great place for dogs… I couldn’t ask for more!"

We brought our SUPs and paddled every day, and did some mountain biking nearby in Cuyuna State Park. "This cabin was perfect for the two families that stayed here this weekend. The cabin was very clean and just as described in the listing. Such a private space, big yard to play games in, great fire pit and dock to the water. Communication with the host was always very helpful and timely- she was great to deal with! "The boathouse is quiet, clean and peaceful. Checking in was seamless and communication with Sue was as easy as it gets. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and couldn’t have asked for more! Plenty of things to do in the area or stay on the property and enjoy the kayaks, swimming or relaxing on the docks with a beverage. Will definitely be coming back again! "

"Stayed here for 4 nights with spouse and 3 family members. Nice clean cute cabin. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Fishing was productive and the lake is very clean. The only drawback was being so close to BIR and the loudness during the races or practice or whatever they were doing. But since we were on the water or exploring the area we didn't hear too much of it. But in spite of that we totally enjoyed it!"

"Good communication, not the fault of the property that the power went out twice (no generator) or that there were tornado warnings to get into a basement. We did but had company, a dead mouse. All in all, a less than perfect experience. We left 2 days early."
