"My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. Not a lot of channel choices for the TV. Also can't comment on the resort facilities as didn't use them....

"The property was ideally situated close to the harbour and all amenities, and proved an excellent base for a 4 night stay. It was very clean and comfortable and our host, Pauline was next door if we needed anything (we didn’t). We used the Coasthopper bus to Brancaster Staithe and walked back (almost 12 miles) - have done the other direction to Blakeney and Cley before but weather was uncertain so took the car.
