"We were meeting friends to go to the Highland games and there were little lodging available at a reasonable price. I was a little concerned about the bothies based on earlier reviews but we all loved it. "This cottage is so nice you won't want to leave the house. The layout is perfect and incredibly functional, and the style is pristine and tasteful. There is a laminated guidebook with info about the appliances, temp control, amenities, nearby hikes. Everything was in stock, everything worked. "Only stayed for one night as in the area for business purposes. Had an evening meal in the bar area and the food was excellent. Room was clean and nicely decorated with all amenities provided. Staff were professional and courteous. The breakfast was superb in the morning although I did not have much appetite early on I wouldnt have gone hungry if I had been ready for food.
