"The reviews are true: the house is clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, right on the water, and we spent most of our time staying in and watching the ships go by. It rained while we were there (we expected it would) and the propane fireplace kept us warm and cozy. The check in process was a breeze and we have nothing but positive things to say about the house."

"We’ve stayed in a number of short term vacation rentals over the the years and Della’s is our favorite thus far. She has thought of everything. Our pug enjoyed the private back yard space, and we enjoyed having countless snacks, water, in-room laundry, privacy, a super comfortable bed and sectional to relax on, not to mention Whidbey Island itself. The location is ideal for beach combing (I’ve never seen so many shells!) and nature trails abound. If we ever visit Whidbey again, we will...

Washer and dryer with unscented laundry soap was a nice surprise, along with an airfryer. Appreciated those! Fireplace nice for cold rainy days was nice too. 2 full bathrooms was appreciated."

"Although this place doesn't look like much, I found the accommodations to be exactly as expected. The property we stayed in was in good condition and was quite clean. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchenette was sufficient enough for me to cook some of our meals while there. "Super location and clean home. It was overcast the weekend we were there, but the views of birds and the water were still lovely! Easy check-in process and very responsive and kind property manager. A well stocked kitchen for cooking if you decide to do that. The only thing that we missed were blinds in one of the bedrooms. An easy fix! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!!! :)"

"Quaint, quiet, secluded, and peaceful... The perfect place to unplug and enjoy the relaxed pace of "island time". Soaking in the private hot tub under the stars is absolutely amazing! We always travel with our dog, Penny. It's often difficult to find places that accept pets; so, this cabin is a true gem! Lorry is a great host who truly wants you to enjoy your stay. "Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"
