"My family traveled over 1,600 miles to watch the 2024 eclipse as well as to stay at this beautiful VRBO. The cabins are adorable, comfortable, and well thought out. The property is simply beautiful with the woods and pond plus it's far enough out of town that the stars were stunning. The wife and kids are already asking if we can come back again! "This tiny farmhouse is so cute. Perfect for a couple. I cook a lot and there were no measuring cups, no lids for pots, no racks for the multipurpose airfrier toaster oven. Cooking was a challenge, im glad i brought my own cast iron pan. Other than that, we loved it. It's very close to hiking and the river."

"The GPS is a little off, the driveway to get to the spot is right before the junction of highways 21 and 16. A beautiful spot with magnificent views. I appreciate the coffee pot and the bundle of firewood and the King size bed is comfy. Emily and Kayla made the stay easy. I will be back, when its a bit warmer."

"Eric and Ashlee are great hosts. They answered all our questions before we arrived, made us us feel super welcome and couldn't have been more helpful. The location of the cabin is beautiful, set in rolling countryside with stunning views, close to Ponca, and there are some great family walks nearby. Lost Valley is great for young children. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Buffalo River area. Thank you. Martin"

"My husbands family is from Oark. We love to go down for the weekend. It was our first time in a cabin cause it was gonna storm. Best desicion ever! I think this may be our go to place down here. It excedded our expectations! And the host is amazing. Great communication."

"The house location to the ranch was perfect. We had about 7 inches of rain in 3 days we stayed. And the place was plenty big that we weren't bumping in to each other. I highly recommend La Montana to anyone. We will be back."

"Everything was really nice. It could use a few touches like lamps in the bedrooms. It would also be nice to have something to sit your suitcase on besides the floor. "We loved the cozy cabin and kept commenting to one another about how well stocked it was! They really thought of everything. We were blown away by the hike attached to the property; it would be a shame to miss it. Proximity to the Buffalo and all the other major hikes we wanted to hit were 15min or under. Unbeatable!"

"Love the location as we can see sunrise every morning. Love the remoteness of the place, the interior was beautiful and it provided a lot of privacy. Kitchen was so cute and provided so much. There were quite some bugs that got inside though but i guess that’s normal considering the location? Loved the cows, birds, solitude."
