"We booked very last minute and Karen couldn’t have been more helpful! We needed a base near Snowdon and this is a 15 minute drive away. The site itself is just what you’d hope : a bar ( Friday night was bingo!), a lovely river, the grounds beautifully kept and a well stocked shop with all sorts from loo roll to jewellery! "We loved our stay here! A lovely little cottage perfectly located in a charming village by Snowdon with great pubs and independent shops. We didn't have a car and using the local buses worked out just fine which is a bonus. Highly recommend!"

"We were surprised that we had to pay extra for heat in the property by purchasing heat credit. The property had a horrible Mildeu smell, which was present even with the windows open. "Plenty of local walks requiring no vehicle once you have arrived. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, this is perfect. Open fire, cosy lounge and central heating as back up. Beautiful views from front windows of mountains. Remember to keep gate closed as local sheep are free to roam. This is our second visit and we're still discovering new walks and places of interest. "We had a wonderful stay in this quaint little cottage. Even our grumpy teen who doesn’t like anyone or anything thoroughly enjoyed her stay and wants to return. The most beautiful views of Snowdon from the living room window. Homely little fire burning and keeping us all cosy. Just idyllic. My son also found Rosalie’s bird poem book and as a parrot owning family he had a good chuckle reading them. 100% we will be back."
