"The property was beautiful, spotlessly clean, decorated beautifully and lovely garden. Milk,teabags, hot chocolate and coffee sachets there waiting for us which was a nice touch. A couple of minutes walk to the beach, lovely coastal walks and great food in the nearby pub 'The Lifeboat'. The couple that owned the property were lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend this holiday let and we hope to return."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Coastguards. We’re regular visitors of west wittering and the location is perfect for exploring the beach and local area. A very comfortable and functional place for the family. We would have loved a bbq! The kitchen was a little dated but we spent little time in the cottage as we were out and about enjoying crabbing, beach walks, the local pub and Chichester. Thank you!"

"Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is gorgeous. There was an issue with the freezer and they brought us a replacement within a few hours which was impressive & essential as we needed ice for drinks! The garden is so lovely. The location is exactly what I was after. Beautiful quiet village. We sat in bed one morning listening to the bird song. Heaven. Local pubs were great too. Our host was lovely. Attentive & communicative. We had such a lovely stay and I didn’t want to leave. ❤️...

"Beautiful, cosy little place with absolutely everything you need for a relaxing couples break. Doreen was kind, friendly and an amazing host. The additional breakfast treats were perfect. Bosham is lovely, we ate in lovely pub/restaurants, walked around the harbour, had a fab little ferry trip across to Itchenor, and Bosham Walk has unique little craft shops. A perfect 4 nights and will definitely stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a convenient location, 15 min walk to West Wittering beach. Great pub across the road. Bright spacious lounge and kitchen with an outdoor patio. Clean and tidy rooms. The hot water stopped working while we were there but it was solved promptly."

"It is a handily located property, just as described, and very close to the sea, which you can see from both balconies. The balconies themselves are exceptional and spacious, one with morning sun and one with evening sun. Nice garden too. The house itself nicely designed and very well served with cooking equipment. We had a lovely week here!"

"We found the bungalow to be really clean and well equipped. It was so nice to have a decent sized, quiet garden to relax in on the days that we decided to just chill out. Lovely comfortable furniture in the large lounge. It is just a short walk into the village of East Wittering where there is a really good variety of shops and places to eat. The beach is literally a five minute stroll away, lovely. Overall we had a lovely break in a very comfortable property."

"Very private, great house, amazing kitchen, beautiful garden, private drive and a super host. Situated within a short drive to all the attractions the area has to offer, such as, West Wittering beach, Chichester, Bosham and lots more. The kids were extremely happy as we were and our Tibetan Mastiff. We will most definitely book it often in the future!"

"We came to stay for a very wet Easter week away with the kiddies was just wanting a diff environment for a few days. It lived up to that and much more, even in the cold wet weather the location and home was perfect, We was kept very warm and Cosy in this property it really was home for home. We have tried many properties in selsey over the years and this is the best unique home we have found! Deffo recommend staying in this very rear home."

"Although we appreciate we were not in an assisted bedroom we would have appreciated a handle on the wall to aid getting in and out of the bath. This was a comment from my husband who is not disabled. I was unable to use the shower as I was unable to get in the bath - I am disabled. Anyone who has a disabled blue badge can park for free on the car park behind the pub. This saved us £18 per night. The evening meal we had was fantastic, really tasty!. Breakfast was great. "
