"Cute apartment with a great kitchenette for those who don't want to eat out all the time. Wi-Fi was provided and entrance to the property was easy and I felt secure. The host has lot of little extras and tries to make your stay pleasant. There are steep stairs for any who would be troubled by that but they are very stable and have railings. "

"Great location close to all the cute shops and local eateries. Easy access to highway and short drive to Kanata and Ottawa as well as many great things to see in Ottawa Valley. More convenient and better value than the local hotels. Full kitchen is really well equipped and newer which also helps save on eating out. The host was very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. Perfect spot for checking out this picturesque little town. "

"…finishes were cheap as were the mishmash of old furniture and decorations. Not as clean as one might expect given 2 signs to remove your shoes. Spiderwebs under the entrance bench and dirt under the beds. Most definitely overpriced for a one night stay after all the fees and taxes are added, it was double the quoted rate."

"This was a great little cottage. My family and I were at a family wedding near by. Cottage had all amenities, except a BBQ(although it was not one offered). The place was clean and the owner responded to any questions very timely. We did have issues closing the bathroom door and the shower heads spray was affected due to the hard water. Besides that we loved the privacy, the location on the river. Free firewood was available in the shed, which was greatly convenient. Lots of bedding and extra...

"Another great time on White Lake! Our ladies' get-together was a success- lots of room for everyone and with an open concept kitchen, dining and living room area, it made socializing easy and fun! Lots of private space outside too. We enjoyed lounging on the dock and in the lawn chairs under the trees, used the kayaks to explore the marshes and shoreline, and on the last night lit a campfire. A great place to see the stars and to enjoy the dawn chorus! We hope to be back again!"
