Everything was just like in the description except gathering eggs from the chickens. We checked every day but there weren't any. One of the owners daughters dropped a dozen off one evening. "The Alton Lodge is awesome! It is a beautiful log structure that is warm and inviting! It was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay on our way from Zion NP to Bryce Canyon NP. We enjoyed the hiking trail up the hill behind the lodge as well as the night sky full of stars. Seeing a herd of elk on the way into Alton was icing on the cake! We highly recommend the Alton Lodge!"

"We has a very nice stay at Paul and Teresa's luxury cabin. Highly recommend! It is in a very quiet and private area. Although there were just two of us, the home is plenty large enough for 6 to 10 guests. The master bed was very comfortable. "If you are wanting to visit multiple parks, then this is a really good place because it is pretty much in the middle of Zion and Bryce Canyon. "Quiet and secluded, but close to everything we needed. We had a great time exploring Bryce and Zion. A few small issues were taken care of promptly by management. Beds were very comfy. Kitchen was a bit limited, but we managed. Knives were nice and sharp, which is unusual for a rental, and most pans were clean on arrival, also unusual. Roku TV worked well and we were able to hook up everything we brought. We would definitely come again."
