"If anyone in your party has mobility issues this property has stairs and upper and lower levels. Be careful of low ceilings in lower and upper level bedrooms are sloped ceilings. This property is very well stocked except no hair dryer. If you are able bodied it's a very nice place to stay. Thanks"

"Overall met our needs. Happy surprise to have three bedrooms but one has totally open upper ceilings so room noise level is high. Hot tub was nice and location is great. Kitchen could use more mixing bowels and cook wear but overall met our needs. Needs updating and TLC but overall good for family with dogs:)"

"I wish I could live here for the whole summer. It was very clean. Huge bed. Hot tub was great. There is a small gas grill on one of the decks. I used it almost every day. There is another deck up the spiral staircase where there are more beds. The heat worked great although I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. But that is fine with me. You park your car in a car port so you can get in and out of the house without getting rained on (it rained a lot, but mostly just sprinkles). The...

"Our cruise was cancelled so we flew into Anchorage and booked this home. Gary met us at the door and showed us around. The house was perfect and beautiful. It was about 1 1/2 hrs from Anchorage and 1 hr from Seward. We were able to see sites in Seward and in the area. We would have loved to stay longer but we had other commitments. The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. Gary was very nice and visited a few times as we were leaving. We would definitely stay here again if we find...

"Beautiful property on big lake with stunning Mt views. Swans with 7 cygnets and loons calling on the tranquil lake this morning. Also lots of fish jumping in evening and morning. Would have loved to kayak but ran out of time. New owner Greg gives great customer service and communication. The VRBO website was messed up tho and did not get good customer service from their phone staff in Africa."

"Picked a cold and windy hockey tournament weekend. But the view was fantastic! Stars were out just like on top of a Hawaiian volcano, only better. And colder. Great communication with host, Homer is a fun town with great food. Next time we’re back, staying at Volcano Vista again."

"Our family of 4 had a great time staying at the Mountain Top A-frame, directly across from Ski Land. We were blessed with a Northern lights show 7 out of the 8 nights we stayed. The house was perfect with small kids. The hot tub and sauna were great for Aurora sightings and the location of the house was top notch for this reason. Highly recommend!"
