"My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning."

"Loved the pollinator gardens and got so many pictures of monarchs here. The little lake beach nearby was gorgeous for swimming and the grocery store is a quick drive. Beautiful place and would love to go back."

"This property and home was unbelievable! The pictures do not do it it justice, I've been telling all my friends and family about this and showing my photos of the unique home. The octagon shape with the fireplace as the centre of the main room is beautiful. When we first arrived it felt like an adventure to learn the home. "We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Going around thanksgiving meant it was cozy in the cabin and the leaves were changing outside. Bill and Christine were wonderful hosts who were there to greet us and responsive if we needed them, but otherwise gave us space and privacy. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could need for cooking (and the knives were sharp!) "Me, my siblings and friends had a great stay in this cottage for 4 nights and definitely had a blast. The cottage has all the equipments you need for a comfortable stay. They also provided firewoods for bonfires right beside the lake. Also, the lake has very clean water good for both swimming and fishing. Extra ameneties like paddle boat, kayaks, stand up board and water vests. The location is great for a quiet getaway and also provides great privacy."

"We had a great time making memories. Very spacious clean. Bunkie was a great extra place to sleep. Loction and view was to die for. Friendly neighbor. Lots of parking. This weekend was very special to our family as we were all able to gather on the deck. We bbq We talked, enjoyed the fire pit. Went for a walk. We came for a wedding and had a fantastic mimi long weekend. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Hope to come back next year😊"

"Bill was a very good host, helpful and interesting but not intrusive in any way so our stay was very peaceful in a green setting. The accommodation is very well equipped and the food provisions for breakfast excellent and including local products. Visitors have to be aware that the nearest town of several, Madoc, is 25km away but has all one could wish. "
