Lovely Stay
We had an incredible time! The Hideaway has everything you need for a comfortable stay. After a long day at the park it was nice to cook dinner and recover with a good night’s rest in the very comfy bed. Easy drive into the park’s main attractions. Would love to stay again one day.

Yosemite getaway
We drive into Yosemite each day and did fabulous hikes. Short 30 minute drive to get to the Valley. The Hideaway had a great jet tub that soaked the sore muscles after our long hikes. Great view from the deck and peace and quiet!

Great R&R Cottage
This vrbo is a great, intimate cottage just inside Yosemite. I absolutely loved the jacuzzi tub and the overall look and feel of the cottage. And the host was very helpful and courteous.

yosemite hideaway
wonderful cottage/cabin built into the hillside. great views very quiet and private. the place was very comfortable for 2 and very clean with all the amenities you would need. Owners left a bottle of wine and instructions on how everything worked. we were out and about during the daytime and enjoyed dinner on the deck using the gas grill; and wonderful sunsets. there are many steps down to the house (54) so not the best for those with mobility issues. would definitely stay there again.

One of the very best rentals I've stayed in.
Location was perfect...i was able to reach all trailheads and other activities in any direction within 30 minutes. Property was clean, with very quiet surroundings. There was even a small construction project going on at a neighboring property but i didnt hear a sound from it. Kitchen has updated appliances and jad everything i needed. Dishwasher and AC was a plus too. Tub was a good size and hot water was plentiful and immediate (a plus for me after a day of hiking). I would easily choose to stay there again when i come back to Yosemite.

Great stay at amazing location
We absolutely loved our stay. The location was very near Glacier Point Rd, which was perfect for exploring the high country. The house was very comfortable, the bed was great. The views from the house are absolutely stunning. Sunsets and stars were magnificent. Kitchen pans were lacking - so bring a pan or two if you plan to cook anything beyond the basics. Also, there were more steps down to the house than we expected. Maybe 6 flights of 8 stairs each. A bit if a task if you have heavy luggage. Overall highly recommended!

The perfect cabin for our Yosemite trip!
I booked this cabin for my girlfriend and I. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay, the property and Jeff. The cabin was absolutely perfect especially for a couple. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the soaking tub was perfect after long hikes, a kitchen stocked with all essentials and gorgeous views from the deck. The location was perfect for getting to and from the park. Jeff was so accommodating and helpful for our stay. Would absolutely recommend booking this for your Yosemite stay! We’ll be back. The house had everything we needed for a great stay. LOVED the big tub. Beware of lots of stairs to get to the house but very doable. Pack lightly! Deck was perfect for summer dinner outside. And wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.

Perfect Yosemite Stay
This is such a lovely cottage. Lots of space, well laid out. Perfect location too. Being inside the park was more costly, but worth it. The park was incredibly busy in July 2023 and being inside the gates gave us 30 mins head start on all the other visitors! Also less distance to drive after wearing ourselves out hiking! The views from the cottage are also excellent, we would certainly stay here again.

Idyllic hideaway in Yosemite
This property was truly delightful, idyllic location, beautifully furnished and perfectly located to experience the wonders of Yosemite. The hosts responded to all queries promptly and assisted with recommendations. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning to the magnificent views, surrounded by nature. Equally, it was a delight to sit on the terrace in the evening to watch the sunsets. The bed was super comfortable, very welcome after a busy day hiking.

Great Experience
Everything about this rental was great. It is nicely located inside the park - it took about 20 minutes to get into the valley in the morning (i.e. through the tunnel). The layout is great for a couple with plenty of comfortable space for 2 and the cottage is nicely appointed. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. Our only issue was that the whole area lost power one day and it took some time to to restore it.

We really enjoyed staying here. The location in Yosemite West is very convenient for visiting both Yosemite Valley and southern Yosemite areas like the Mariposa Grove. The cottage was just perfect for the two of us. We had everything we needed and the house was clean. It was easy to communicate with the owners.

Great stay inside the park
We really enjoyed our stay here, watching deer walk up the hill from the balcony each evening. It's a short drive to the valley. And a fantastic home to return to each evening!

Nice hike away near Yosemite village
The house is great. Well maintained and nice touches by the host. Great information and maps od area. About 25-30 minutes from the Valley. Also not too far (about the same) from Mariposa Grove. Fired had a haunting effect on the view - very glad home stayed safe. A bit confusing of a road in and out and our gps mismatched it the first time even with coordinates. Lovely fireplace. Overall very nice stay.

Absolutely spectacular, best place to stay in Yosemite
Thank you so much to Jess and Melissa for providing such a wonderful place to stay in this incredible park. We weren’t able to get any cell service so couldn’t text our lovely hosts to say thank you for the gorgeous bottle of wine that was waiting for us upon arrival, plus everything you could want or need to know about your surroundings and how to get the most out of them. We were so sad to leave, but it was after a few days of complete bliss, even being lucky enough to see some sweet deer walk past below us on our last morning. Needless to say the views are amazing, and the location of the cabin is 2nd to none. When we are next in the area we will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Jeff and Melissa for this magical place!

Spectacular location inside Yosemite!
Perfect house for a couple! Has all the necessary amenities, is spacious, and has beautiful views. The fact that it is inside the confines of the park is a huge bonus. There are a lot of stairs to access the property, so that might be challenging for some, but would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in Yosemite West
We really enjoyed our stay in Yosemite for 3 days in June 2022. The house beautiful. There is a parking place located above the house. There are about fifty steps to get down to the house. Be aware of this if you have any mobility issues. I was able to do it even with my bad knees, but it was a chore after a day of hiking and when carrying our luggage down and up and stairs. Totally worth it though. Be sure to closely follow the directions that the owner provides to get to the house. It can be tricky especially if you arrive when it is dark. To enter the house, the owner provides an access code to use on a keypad. Upon entering from the house, there is small entry area. After passing through the entry area, you walk into the upper bedroom area. The bedroom area is very spacious and overlooks the living area. The bed was very comfortable. The one bathroom is located off the bedroom. It is also spacious and well equipped. It was kind of a struggle to get into the tub to take a shower because it is so large and deep. We did not make use of the whirlpool. The main living area is located down several steps from the bedroom. It is also quite spacious. It has a well-equipped kitchen with updated appliances. My husband had to check in with his work during our stay and setup his laptop on the dining room table. He did not use the provided internet but used his Verizon hot spot for internet access. This worked great and he had no access issues. The living room is comfortable, and the TV access worked well. The house is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is well supplied, and the appliances work well. The access to the patio is off the dining area. The view is fantastic. We did not use the BBQ. We did not have access to the washer and dryer since our stay was less than 7 days. The place was a 30-minute drive to Yosemite Valley. The drive takes you through the tunnel. We stopped at the tunnel view every time we drove to or back from the valley. The view was always changing depending on the time of day. So Beautiful! The owner’s communication was prompt and complete. We will definitely rent this place again if we return to Yosemite.

Peaceful Luxury with Magnificent Views
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The location was perfect. Yosemite Valley is only a 30 minute drive away. Every evening we sat on the deck and watched the sun set over the mountains and the deer wander through the trees. The hosts live next door and were very helpful. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The only 2 drawbacks: 52 stairs to access the cabin, and no access to the washer & dryer (only available for 7 night stays).

Hidden Perfection
From the bear tumbling down the bank to the spectacular sunsets, we could not have designed a more perfect holiday. I love coming home to peaceful comfort after a busy day in the park. Everything you need for a comfortable visit is provided. Thank you for the wine and coffee as well as your patience with my thousand questions. Bed was comfortable, deck was amaz for watching those Yosemite sunsets and the location was great for accessing all sections of the park. The only factor one must consider when booking this gem of a property is the many steps to access it. If your mobility is limited, this is not a good choice. We are fortunate to not have that concern….yet! Thank you for a very wonderful holiday.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Jeff and Melissa provided very accurate instructions for how to find the hideaway. When we walked in, we were completely blown away! The hideaway was beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every night just listening to nature and enjoying the beautiful view. The Jacuzzi tub was a great perk as well. The hideaway is close to everything - it only took us about 25-30 minutes to get to Yosemite Valley and also Wawona. Jeff and Melissa were also very responsive to my messages prior to booking and answered all questions. We can't wait to return in the future!
