Bad Plumbing
Thank you for asking about or stay. We have a problem that is yet to be resolved. The shower was slow
draining from day one. The toilet backed up and would not flush clear. We plunged and eventually
were able to clear it Thursday night. We messaged and someone came over Friday morning and added
drain cleaning product, it did not work. They came a second time, again added product with no success.
They messaged us this is what happens when they rented both sides of the house. As it happens, both
sides were rented. We spent Thursday night and Friday without a toilet or shower. We let them know
we were leaving Friday afternoon and requested a refund for Friday and Saturday nights. They said a
plumber would come Saturday. They have refused the refund blaming us for a $500 plumbing bill and
accusing us of clogging the line and violating the agreement by having a party. The “party” was our
daughter and her brides’ maids doing hair and makeup before her wedding. This took approximately
two hours on Thursday in which the toilet was used once. Further, we asked if this was acceptable
before renting and it was allowed. I have the communication with Snow approving this prior to renting the house. No more than three people stayed in the house and it is set up to sleep four. We did not abuse the
property and used the facilities as one would expect. We deserve and expect a refund for two days rental. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
