Our family of four adored this property. Russ and Stacy were very accommodating and the listing was identical to what we received. The charm of the property was exactly what we were looking for to explore the Door County area. Minutes from downtown and plenty of room for us to park the boat and charge it.

It was a lovely spot! Everything in the cabin was as described. Bed was comfortable and while we were there we only needed the fan at night. Another plus was Dixie the friendly dog that greeted us when we would get back from hiking. Would definitely recommend this place.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked. In an excellent location with excellent hosts. Perfect for a relaxing weekend but I could see myself staying a longer as well.

Owners Russ & Stacy (and their sweet dog, Dixie) are genuinely friendly and welcoming. They carefully maintain their cabin to provide comfort and serenity. The cabin had everything I needed to enjoy my solo trip to Door County. It was spotlessly clean, the fireplace was perfect, and I slept soundly after exploring Sturgeon Bay & beyond!! It was hard to leave but I KNOW I will be back.

Russ and his wife are some of the kindest, most accommodating people weā€™ve ever rented from. The cabin is cozy and perfect for what we wanted in a place to stay. The Door County area has so much to offer and their cabin was the perfect compliment to a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful setting, very clean and welcoming home to stay in. Really didnā€™t want to leave. Had everything we needed for our stay. The property is as pictured. We were able to cycle out from here to get our bike ride in. Beautiful cycling area with quiet nice smooth roads. If you can navigate steps you will love staying here

We absolutely loved staying here. Everything from the easy to access, close parking to the inner and outer Cabin amenities to the Goregous flowers that adorn the exterior. Our Hosts Russ and Stacy were so accomodating and friendly it was like meeting up with old friends. Dixie their Lovely, gentle Golden greated us with squeals of delight every day and basked in the sunshine with us as we enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Our location was mere minutes to delicious restaurants, antique shops, wineries, shoreline and so much more. The beds and pillows were so comfy we slept like logs every night. AC upstairs and downstairs was so nice to come "home" to after a long day sighseeing in the summer heat. I cannot say enough about how lovely this cabin and its owners are. A scenic drive from Milwaukee, we 100% recommend this hidden gem! 10 out of 10!

We loved everything about this property. It was super cozy, everything we needed was stocked. Our daughter loved playing in the gazebo. The owners were so nice, they even brought a toy over for our daughter. We will be visiting again!

This was such an enjoyable stay. At first we were deterred by the steep stairs but then realized that was part of the old home. Stairs were like that and to change that would have changed the authenticity of it. Hand rails on the sides of the stairs took care of any concerns. The fireplace and exposed log beams were our favorite parts of the home. We used the fireplace often throughout our stay. So clean and cozy. Absolutely loved it. It is a beautiful cabin. It was amazing coming back to it after a long day of site seeing. Relaxing and sitting by the fire, it doesn't get much better than that. The host was awesome. We had everything we needed..even the extras like french vanilla creameršŸ˜‰ We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time at the cabin, it was a very clean place to stay. It was awesome to see pictures and know the history of the cabin, they have done a great job of restoring it and making it into a nice place for people to stay. While we were they we were able to enjoy the Fireplace in the Cabin, if we visit the Door County area again, we will stay again! It was a nice getaway for our honeymoon!

Russ is a detailed, thoughtful individual interested in the comfort and quality of stay for his guests. We asked for something as simple as a Kuerig coffee maker and he let us borrow his wife's no less. A fire was already built in the fireplace just waiting for us to put a match to the kindling. The restored 1882 pioneer log home was a viseral and historic treat. Russ is the consumate builder and mechanical engineer. Highly recommend this place to stay ! We hope to return soon.

The cabin is incredible and the Cihlarā€™s are two of the nicest people youā€™ll ever meet. Iā€™ve stayed here once before on a fishing trip with my dad but knew my wife would love it. We returned over Labor Day and had one of our best vacations ever. Having such a lovely little place to stay was the icing on the cake.

This was a lovely contrast with pleasant small kitchen, new bathrooms, and cozy old fashion cabin feel. We love Door County, and this was a great location for the things we enjoy to do.
