Modern Mid-Century Cottage

This unique and modern home is located just steps from the ocean, about a 5 min walk to downtown. A house for those who appreciate the finer things in life. This three bedroom, one bath home sleeps 8. The house has been completely remodeled as of July 2017, build with attention to detail and comfort with impeccable finishes throughout, modern high-end European furniture and top-of-the-line appliances. A perfect place to relax and unwind on the deck off the living room or quietly enjoy the private backyard. There is no other house in Stinson Beach like it! Sorry no Pets.

Best Beach House in Stinson!

This little Beach house is so close to the ocean, it's perfectly appointed, and located. Everything in the house is stylish, and feels and looks new. The house had everything we needed to cook a meal, and was dog friendly. Easy to keep tidy. Close walking distance to the cute little Market, that has everything you can think of, that you forgot to bring. Easy beach walk to the eateries. There's a front porch to enjoy the ocean from, and a private back deck with lovely furniture to gather round. We sat on the beach, in the supplied beach chairs and toasted to the sunset. Beautiful place, beautiful location.

Such a gem

We love this house and it is in a great location. 2 things that I would note that did not ruin our trip, but we would've planned around: 1. there aren't actually dishes/silverware, etc for children- just an inconvenience but not a deal breaker, and 2. The fire pit does not work. It did not work when we first rented this house a few years ago and clearly has not been repaired, so that threw off the plans for s'mores for the kids. Overall, the location and ease of the house makes it a win.

Adelle's house was a great place to stay! Clean, well equipped and so close to the beach! Plenty of beach chairs, mexican blankets and boogie boards to use. Adelle always answered my questions quickly and was so nice and accommodating.

Perfect beach cottage

Found our new favorite rental in Stinson since our previous annual rental was sold. The location is perfect. Just park your car and never get in again. Walk right on to the beach, walk to town, sit on the front porch and watch the waves, or relax on the back deck. Spacious kitchen and rooms for a beach cottage. Owner was very responsive and friendly to inquiries. We look forward to staying here again!

Great house steps to beach!

Cozy beach house with great rear deck/yard, front deck was great to sit and play a game of dominoes. Easy check in, owner is great! So close to beach and town of Stinson Beach, walk everywhere. Well stocked, beach chairs, towels umbrellas.

Great location for a cozy well kept beach stay

We were two families, including a teen and two kids under 7. The house was well kept and clean, modern updates. It was cozy for all 7 of us, but the beach was steps away and the front porch is large with couches and chairs to lounger. There is a back patio as well, but it could use a little landscaping / clean up. We would stay here again.

Our family stayed at this great cottage for two nights with another family. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and relax. We were steps from the beach which as the most exciting part and reason why we chose the house. While the weather wasn't warm or sunny, the kids still really enjoyed playing in the sand and water. The house also had a grill and fire pit which we did not use because of the rainy weather. Be aware that there are limited dining options and limited dining options in Stinson Beach, so possibly do your shopping before you arrive. We cooked dinner one night and had a wonderful dinner the other night at Parkside Cafe.

New Yearā€™s at the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage, which comfortably held 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Fantastic location for walks on the beach, quick access to cafes and the local market, and trailheads for hiking Mt. Tam/Muir Woods. Just what we needed to kick off the new year!

Cozy and comfortable, steps away from the beach

We loved our time in Stinson Beach and canā€™t wait to return. The house is cozy and clean and has everything we needed for a wonderful time. The decks are both wonderful for outdoor meals or relaxing. But the best part of course is being steps away from the beautiful sandy beach! Sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking. We will be back!

Can't beat the location, but the property could use some TLC.

My family of 4 stayed here for a few days before Thanksgiving. The property manager was nice enough to let us check in early on the day of our arrival. Within a few hours, we discovered that the hot water was broken. By this time it was evening and the property manager said she couldn't have anyone come out to fix it until the next day. She gave us instructions to try and fix it, which involved squeezing between the deck and fence (maybe 1.5 ft wide space) and finding a switch under the house. We didn't want to deal with the dark and rainy night in an unfamiliar setting so we went our first night without hot water. We managed to fix the switch on our own the next morning. That night we also discovered that the over knob was broken so we unknowingly broiled (and ruined) our dinner. We contacted the property manager about that as well and she said apparently it happens very often -- so often in fact that they have a box of spare knobs. It was obvious to me that the oven needed professional repair given the chronic breakage. The refrigerator also needs some maintenance. The temperature reading on the outside screen said it was 37 degrees, but any food we took out was barely cold. There's a rung missing from the ladder on the bunk bed and the beds and furniture are all showing their wear. It's obvious this is a popular rental, but it's looking pretty worn down given the traffic. I gave the property 3 stars because the location is great and the property manager was helpful.

Our favorite beach house.

We love this cute little beach house. Our family has stayed here several tunes and itā€™s always our first choice when coming to Stinson. Itā€™s steps to the beach and there is plenty of room for our family to relax. Itā€™s a cute and modern with a great kitchen and a nice living space. Itā€™s an easy walk into town for coffee in the morning or an ice cream cone etc. We look forward to our next visit.

Lovely spot!

We had a terrific stay at Adelle's cottage. What a gem, great location and well appointed. Had everything you could want or need for a beach get away. The updated kitchen was a huge plus and the backyard was a perfect spot for when the wind picked up. Communication was easy and we so appreciated the early check in. Thanks again Adelle!
