Pet Friendly, Authentic St. Simons Beach Cottage in the Village Area

This is a circa 1930 beach bungalow located within the Village Historic Preservation District. It was completely renovated with modern amenities, while preserving the charm of a bygone era. If you are looking for a quaint coastal cottage, look no further. From the picturesque front porch to the attractively landscaped rear patio, this cottage was renovated with every detail in mind. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, fishing pier, restaurants, boutiques, off-leash dog park, pickle ball courts, lighthouse museum, actors theater, aquatic fun park, and community pool. The beautifully appointed main cottage offers an open floor plan that includes a cozy living room with a 50 inch high definition TV, dining area, and top of the line custom kitchen. In addition, there is a spacious master suite with a King bed, large flat screen TV, custom bathroom, and walk-in closet. A half bath is conveniently situated between the kitchen and full-size laundry room. A large screened-in porch along the rear of the cottage opens to a lovely courtyard where the detached guest cottage is located. The guest house accommodating one bedroom with trundle bed, one full bath cottage offers extra sleeping room or just a quiet away space. It includes a twin daybed and trundle, large flat screen TV, and coffee maker. This is a property you will definitely enjoy and want to reserve year after year.

Great Little Place with Terrific Location

We loved our stay in Saint Simons, and this little house was one of many reasons why. It was perfect for my wife and I in the main house, and the little cabin in the back was great for my boys (10 and 12) too. They often said things like, ā€œHey dad, after dinner, do you wanna come over to our place?ā€ The addition out back gave the boys a little bit of freedom, but they were also a quick few steps away for a check in. The main house itself is beautiful and well designed. So many convenient little additions in the design (built in and dimmable reading lights in the master bedroom were great). The bed was also very comfortable, and we spent lots of time in the screened in back porch. And then thereā€™s the location. Itā€™s prime. Everything downtown is an easy walk away. Weā€™d walk to dinner, to get ice cream, or just to look at the beautiful houses and live oaks. Thanks for making this a memorable and easy stay for us, and we hope to make it back soon!

Adorable cottage near everything

This little house is even cuter than it looks online. It is a wonderful screened in back porch and a patio with a fountain - so relaxing! It's within easy walking distance of the beach, as well as at least 10 restaurants. Loved it!

Charming Cottage...Perfect Location!

We have spent 30 Memorial Day Weekends at St Simon's and this is the first time we did not stay on the water or at the Cloister. I was prepared to be disappointed. We found this place absolutely wonderful! The cottage was very clean and well furnished. They provided everything we needed and were excellent communicators. The little guest house out back was perfect for our adult son visiting (except do not expect Wifi out there). The courtyard was a perfect place to gather and the screened-in back porch was a dream. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch to people watch. The best part was the proximity to the village stores and restaurants. We never got back in our car. I highly recommend this villa!

The home was really wonderful. Anything you might want to cook with was there and for a compact space the home was really comfortable and beautifully decorated. I loved the screened porch and the master suite.

Property is super cute with beautiful landscaping. You can tell it was a quality renovation. Area is greatā€”easy walk to pier/lighthouse/restaurants. The only room for improvement: 1) mattress in main bedroom sags, 2) though house was very clean in general, grout in bathroom needs to be scrubbed and kitchen utensil and cooking items could be culled and cleaned thoroughly. Overall, great rental and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful St Simon Island Cottage

This is a charming, lovely house that has recently been meticulously restored located in the heart of St Simons. All appliances are top rate as is the quality of the materials used in the remodel. House is located within easy walking distance of "downtown" St Simons with its abundant restaurants and shops, none of which we visited due to Covid. We did thoroughly explore (on foot) the waterfront and local beaches as well as a gorgeous park filled with ancient live oaks draped with Spanish moss just a block from the house. I thought the location of the house on a main street might be noisy, but its really not, and the front porch is perfect for people watching. People walking by actually commented on how beautiful the house is as we sat on the front porch! Minor quibbles: kitchen floor seemed like it could have used an additional good mopping. Front and rear porches were outfitted with comfy chairs bedecked with fashionable, attractive cushions. But seaside Georgia in the summertime is rough on cushions kept outdoors and mildew was creeping into cushions, better to just leave chairs uncovered! We would definitely rent this cottage again!

Summer vacation

We loved our stay at this sweet little Cottage. Close to the pier village. We rented a golf cart to drive around. Bed was comfortable, dohm sound machine was a lifesaver. Plenty of space for my family of 4. Loved having a washer and dryer. Found it to be clean, but the floors were making our feet black. Needed a good mopping. Other than that it was perfect.

Perfect Location! Great House!

My husband and I stayed at this property for a week. We absolutely loved everything about this house. It was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed and more. We travel a lot and this is one of our new favorite rentals. So much storage space for our clothes, toiletries and beach stuff. The location is perfect. Very quick drive to the bigger beach spots and a few minute walk to the pier, shopping and restaurants but far enough to have peace and quiet. Itā€™s located on a ā€œMain Streetā€ in SSI but it was not an issue whatsoever. The house is very well built and insulated and there were no street sounds. Also SSI is a tiny town so ā€œmain streetā€ isnā€™t exactly major traffic lol itā€™s a 1 min walk to Moo Cow ice cream shop which was fun after dinners. I recommend this place and we will stay again. The little guest house would be perfect for an older child or a friend/relative traveling with you. Fantastic bathroom and kitchen. Wise use of space. The property manager answered any question immediately. 10/10 will be there again. Fantastic vacation!
