I booked this hotel based on the awesome reviews, however, I came to find out why so despite the fact that this place is horrible. First off, the owner is a sweet talker, he’ll try his best to please you until you ask to leave and for a refund. I booked 5 nights but I couldn’t stay more than two and he refused to refund me, although, when I contacted Expedia they said it’s through him that the money could be refunded but he won’t. The photos are very deceiving, the rooms are rundown and dirty, they lack a lot of things that are mentioned while booking. There were no hair dryer and when I asked the receptionist, he said that they have one for the whole place! The bathroom was broken although I switched rooms, it was still leaking (the toilet). The water is salty and it will burn your eyes when you wash your face. There was no toilet paper or soap, and I got some when I asked. The sheets are dirty and I was grossed out by the pillow so I covered it with my t-shirt. The day I left I got bitten by something while I was asleep, it looked like a spider bite and it kept getting worse. There were ants crawling allover and I don’t know if they could bite that hard. The food was average and there is a restroom by the dining area where I saw a cockroach coming out of it one night. The pool is dirty, I didn’t even wanna try swimming there. As mentioned in other reviews, there are so many cats and a dog so the reception area stinks. Overall it was a terrible experience, Never again :(

Billig vistelse på byggarbetsplats
Det positiva: Hotellägaren och personalen trevlig och hjälpsam. Rent på rummet. WiFi på rummet (efter någon dag). Det negativa: Byggarbeten pågick på hotellet. Bland annat poolen som var torrlagd. Dammande och bullriga arbeten på fasader. Ska man verkligen hyra ut rum på ett hotell som är mer som en byggarbetsplats? Vi lämnade efter tre av fyra förbetalda nätter.

im relay sorry for you ...but our work in the garden and pool was starting in 9 am and finished at 4 pm ..in the time all our customer out and from first night i put your rooms far a way and you ask for early breakfast before the time and wee do it for you ,,and wee do our best to make your stay great .. thank you and wee are sorry ,, wee wish you are here now to see how our new pool look and our garden

Budowa basenu zamiast urlopu
Bardzo miły właściciel ale niestety uważamy że zostaliśmy oszukani. Wykupiliśmy długo wyczekiwany urlop w hoteliku z basenem a zastalismy plac budowy z wielką dziurą zamiast basenu. Koparka uprzykrzała nam życie i nie dała wypocząć.

Dear from the begging i told you about the pool work and i told you its best time for us to renew or pool in this winter because no one use the pool and work in pool are in 9 am finished 3 pm in the time all customer out ..and all this before check in and you say no any problem and you enjoy all hotel option ...why you are sad ... in any way im very sorry it was to important for us to do this work and now you can see the pool the begets in dahab )))

Good value for money in a great location.
The owner is wonderful! His hardworking family is doing all they can. The breakfast is delicious, filling, and fresh. Coffee, tea, and fresh drinking water available at all times. This is the best of Dahab. The property is old (as are all properties in Dahab, this is normal and to be expected), but as clean as can be. No insects anywhere. Playful and beautiful pets by the poolside. Bathroom was old, leaky toilet, mold on ceiling, shower curtain should be changed. Toilet was squeaky clean, shower was nice and hot. Yes, I'd stay there again. Great value and fantastic location! Near the bus station in town!

Disapointing though the staff are nice
The hotel overall is very disapointing . The beds are very small and uncomfortable . The tv is small and very very old like a cube .

the hotel evry year wee make update for it and always bright and the beds 1.20 SM what you want more than that in single room and TV is ok for room it is 16 pc and im agree about the tv because almost of the customer come to enjoy the see and diving and surfing they not have time to watch tv and in the same time wee have highest speed internet almost of customer use it as a tv here wee are low budget hotel with all this option i think 5 star hotel well be good for you next time

Lovely stay
A nice normal Egyptian 2 star hotel. Clean pool and area, very nice staff and helpful. Washing available, wifi in room. Beds were a bit hard for my taste. Fridge in room..rusty and I would not use it. Saltwater in taps so a lot of rust in bathroom. But otherwise i´m very happy with the stay at Dahab plaza hotel.

Fantastic host makes all the difference
A great spot, in the middle of the action with a nice pool, but it's the owner that makes this place so perfect. Need to check in 5 hours early and check out 8 hours late? No problem. No cost. Want breakfast? Sure, every day he makes it himself. Need to extend your stay? Sure thing, this is your home he will say. Rooms are great for the cost, although of course you may find better facilities if you have a higher budget. Would definitely stay here again and every time I come to Dahab. Semi-social atmosphere too with a wide range of tourist ages and cultures using this place. Made some friends! Thank you!!

Everything is clean; rooms, bathrooms and the pool. Only contact with the reception is if you go down there yourself or have their mobile number the moment you check in. Breakfast choices are very limited but still okay.

どの部屋からも、プールが見える。 プールの清掃も行き届いておりキレイ。 プールサイドに横たわりながら、猫と遊ぶこともできる。 施設は新しくはないが、wifi、シャワー、エアコンの問題はない。 コスパは申し分ないと感じました。 オーナーが気さくな方で、お茶を出してくれがてら、気を使って話してくれる。 エジプト特有の強引な押し売りもなく、快適に過ごせました。

Excellent hotel in Dahab!
This was truly a great place to stay in Dahab. I truly believe that for the price you will never find a better place anywhere in the area. The manager was such a kind man who really went the extra mile to ensure that I was having a great stay. The security, cleaning staff, and breakfast personnel were absolutely incredible and were truly kind and caring. I really looked forward to the breakfast everyday, it included an egg, piece of cheese, yogurt, coffee with milk, a stack of pita bread or toast with butter, jam, and honey. The room was really nice. It was extremely clean and the beds were really comfortable. The pool was beautiful and the few cats they had were adorable and very well behaved. The location is very close to everything, without being noisy at all. The t.v. was a 13 inch and had 2 very good English movie channels. You really should stay here!

Basic facts
The hotel was very close to the biggest supermarket in Dahab and therefore very close to the main seafront - a 3 minute walk. WiFi did not work in the room but was ok in the hotels reception. There is a small swimmingpool pool in the central courtyard. The room was ok, the bathroom too, and it was quite large, but they are basic. If you wanted clean sheets, towels, and the room cleaned every day you could. There is a free laundry service, and free coffee, tea, and water. The owner of the hotel is helpful.

Hotel hosts 6 -7 cats. Reception area stank of overflowing litter box. Unsure who is in charge. Staff doesn't speak English. Room was dirty.

Мне очень понравилась обстановка в этом отеле, всё было очень уютно, ненавязчиво, и вообще, всё располагало к отдыху и релаксации. Весь день я проводил на погружениях, а вечером отель становился мне вторым домом - можно было расслабиться во внутреннем дворике отеля с видом на бассейн и звездное небо, посидеть в интернете, попить чай или покурить кальян. К слову, WiFi работал без нареканий, также как и кондиционер, и горячая вода в душе. С утра всегда подавали завтрак, даже тогда, когда я вставал очень рано, чтобы успеть на погружения. До супермаркетов и набережной от отеля очень близко, а с другой стороны от отеля проходит автодорога - выйдя из отеля, я тут же мог сесть в машину и уехать на погружения. Хозяин отеля очень внимательный, без проблем организовывал всё, начиная от трансфера и заканчивая чашкой чая или кофе.

Нисколько не жалею, что мой выбор остановился на этом отеле. В нем царит домашняя атмосфера. И даже больше, чем домашняя. Очень приветливый персонал, готовый помочь. Мне показали как выйти к морю, не рассказав, а проводив :-) Из преимуществ: бесплатный wi-fi на территории всего отеля, вкусные завтраки, бесплатные вода, чай, кофе и шиша. Отель располагается справа от моста, если стоять лицом к морю, в паре минут от моря. До лайтхауса идти примерно 10 мин. В целом очень довольна. Приятного вам пребывания в Дахабе ))

Ich fühlte mich von der ersten Sekunde an wie zuhause! Sehr netter Empfang mit persönlicher "Stadtführung", sehr familiär und herzlich! Super Lage, alles in kürzester Zeit zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr gute Tauchbasis gleich um die Ecke (Deep Blue Divers Dahab). Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Jederzeit gerne wieder :-)

Super Budget Alternative im Zentrum von Dahab
Wir waren zehn Tage zum Windsurfen und Kitesurfen in Dahab. Da das Surfen nicht so billig ist, suchten wir uns eine günstige Bleibe. Das Dahab-Plaza war perfekt für uns. Bequeme Betten und ganz akzeptables Frühstück. Der Innenhof mit Pool ist auch ganz schön, an einem windlosen Tag relaxten wir da den ganzen Tag... Der Transport vom Hotel zur Surflagune ist mit einem Taxi auch überhaupt kein Problem, wir hatten schnell unseren persönlichen Taxifahrer, der uns immer freundlich herumchauffierte...

Outstanding value for the price paid. location is central to shops, restaurants in pedestrian area by the sea. owner and staff are friendly and helpful with anything needed. rooms are basic but clean and well maintained. wifi signal is very strong.

Great hotel for a budget conscious couple
Great little hotel. Emad the owner walked us around town after checking in, to give us an idea of location (hotel is just behind the seafront promenade, located in the middle of te promenade). Whilst the hotel uses lower quality and somewhat mismatched furnishings (think staying over at grandma's), the hotel room and pool area are clean. The boys working for the hotel are always cleaning and running around after the guests. Free tea, coffee, laundry and shisha when requested. The included breakfast was varied and lasts from 7am till noon! 30secs walk to the main Ghazala supermarket/pharmacy/restaurants. Whilst I went out early diving most days from 8am, my wife would relax by the poo during the dayl. She mentioned that the hotel boys would make sure she was ok and kept her hydrated with complimentary bottles of water.

Amazing hotel
The location is great, just 10 mins walk to the red sea, and the hotel is clean and beautiful. Most importantly, the owner and staff were very friendly and helped us a lot during our stay. We would DEFINITELY come back next time we are in dehab!

Very friendly and great for the price
The staff here were super friendly and helpful - made you feel like part of the family. It's a budget hotel, but has a pool which is great, and tea and coffee round the pool whenever you want. Right in the middle of Dahab, but quiet, and aircon which is fab and needed here. Rooms are fine - you're not going to spend all day in them, but just what you need for the price.

Clean, friendly base.
This place is what we wanted: a clean, friendly base, from which we could access Dahab bars and restaurants, and go diving each day. The manager and his staff were welcoming and friendly. They offered tea, coffee, and water whenever you needed it, free of charge. The rooms are basic but very adequate: comfortable beds, a wardrobe, fridge, air- con and a good sized bathroom with shower and bath. The pool was very clean and very welcome! As we were leaving, a kitchen/ dining area was being added. Breakfast was served in the beach-side restaurant, Same- Same, where we also dined a couple of times. Do NOT expect a resort hotel of any kind- this is more a good hostel, to which we would happily return.

居心地のよいホテル
料金がとても安いけれど、従業員のサービス、海辺のレストランでの朝食、ランドリーサービス（無料）と非常に良いです。さすがに部屋の設備はそれなりといったところですが、５泊しましたが居心地良く過ごすことができました。

Nous étions un groupe de 8 amis, et l'hotel nous a organisé le transfert aéroport/hotel. Un hotel simple et tres sympatique, tout pres du centre de dahab 3 minutes, personnel hyper agréable et à votre écoute, tres familial, que du bonheur. les chambres sont simples et propre. Petit déjeuner simple et correct dans un restaurant en bord de mer. Très bon rapport qualité/prix Nous pensons déja y retourner en fin d'année. Merci encore au patron pour son accueil et sa disponibilité.
