About the area:
This is an ideal vacation spot any time of the year! Escape to Santa Cruz and enjoy this beautiful, bright, and well-equipped Beach House. You will love this house and enjoy that it is just a few minutes walk to West Cliff Drive and Natural Bridges State Beach. West Cliff Drive offers a multiuse path that overlooks the beautiful Monetary Bay with breathtaking views. It is the most beautiful part of Santa Cruz. It is a perfect spot to drive, walk, bike, run or skate. Keep your eyes open for whales, dolphins, seals, sea otters, and other wildlife. If you enjoy watching surfers catch the ultimate wave, head to Steamers Lane near Lighthouse field and enjoy the grassy field for an afternoon picnic.

Summer is the season to enjoy watching Humpback Whales from the shore. You will also see Monarch Butterflies near to Natural Bridges State Park, which is across the street from us. There are even a few Monarch butterflies that visit our backyard.
Walk or bike to Westside cafes and restaurants, the Lighthouse, Natural Bridges, downtown, the wharf, bakeries, and excellent breweries, and wineries. All of these are just a 10-minute bike ride away. Art openings in the neighborhood and a farmer's market each Saturday are just .5 miles away. The downtown farmer's market is on Wednesdays. There is also a farmers market around the corner from the house on Saturdays. Santa Cruz is the ultimate place to find fresh organic produce. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is an 8 min drive or 2.4 miles down Delaware Ave.

About the house:

The house is equipped with bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, and beach towels. The neighborhood has a few other vacation rentals mixed in with long-term residents. It is a fairly quiet respectable neighborhood, which is nice and clean in one of Santa Cruz's most sought after areas.

This two-story home offers a living room, family room, formal dining room, and family dining in the kitchen overlooking the backyard with a total of four bedrooms and 3 full baths. Downstairs you will find a bedroom with a full-size bed and a comfortable queen size pull out couch and a full bathroom. Upstairs there is a large master suite with a sunken bathtub, two additional bedrooms, and a full bathroom. In the family room, there is a Smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon, and much more and a cable TV in the master bedroom. The house is bright, comfortable and CLEAN. The backyard is fully fenced with a pergola and seating around a cozy fire table. You will LOVE it here and feel right at home.
