You Get What You Paid For

Vantagens: The exit.
Desvantagens: A lot.
Localização: Near Freeway 101 so easy access if heading south.
We visited SLO for three nights to check out the town and local areas. We did not expect to be in the hotel but for sleeping so we just needed a clean/neat place. We paid less than $80 and for the price considering there were 5 of us, it was "OK." The suite had two bedrooms, a couch, suite and outside balcony. I will say the room looked outdated but the bathroom was a little more updated. However, they do have a small/low toilet in a little space so if you are a little big, it could be a problem backing up to sit. Also, the toilet opening is very small, felt like a kid's toilet (sorry the detail but it may matter to some people.)
The main problem was the cleaning. The 1st day we were out by 10 and didn't return until 6 PM and the room was still not made up. We just had housecleaning changed the towels since we were tired and didn't want to leave the room.. The next morning we left @ 11 AM but let housecleaning know so the room would be made up. When returning that night, the room looked made up but the beds appeared as if they had just pulled over the top cover. There were lumps as underneath blankets were still bunched and pillow looked as they had just been throw on the bed.

Publicado em 8 de abr de 2018This is a no-frills older hotel. Good hot water, working sink and tub drains, broken but functional curtains and good location near downtown. No moldy smells, stains on the ceiling, or strange wet spots on the carpet too. The staff was unfriendly but effective. The continental breakfast was about as low budget as possible while still passable as a breakfast.

Nice large double room.

Vantagens: The room was large and comfortable.
Desvantagens: The bath towels could be of a slightly better quality.
Localização: This hotel is close to the 101 freeway, restaurants and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
The two double bed room was very large. The bathroom area was also large. It was easy to move around in the room. Having said that, the area for breakfast is small which is hard to find seatting there but you can always take your breakfast back to your room. There is a small table for eating in there. The parking lot appears to be large enough and the hotel is close to restaurants that are open late at night.

The TV was not working. I had to call the front desk for help. When it stopped working a second time, I just gave up.
The breakfast room is ridiculously room when (4 small tables!) when they have a full house.

Publicado em 1 de abr de 2018 na Hotels I was at the hotel for five days. My second day I came back to the room to find it hadn’t been cleaned. The third day I came back to find that my bed was made but the counters and bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. They offer a breakfast but it doesn’t start until 7:30 AM so if you have anything to do in the morning you’re out of luck. Also if you would like to check out early in the morning good luck with that as well, the doors are all locked and no one will answer the doorbell for you. On top of all of that, the only coffee they had in the room was decaf. At least it was cheap, but for a couple more bucks you could get a much better hotel with much better service.
