Luxurious 3BR/2BA House, SJC DownT/Airport/SantanaRow/VMC/Winchester House

You can't beat the luxury, price and location that our property offers you! This spacious house features a modern kitchen along with loads of new touches. The location provides easy access to the highway, downtown San Jose, Avaya stadium, San José State University, SAP Center at San Jose, Santa Clara University and the San Jose International Airport, which are all within a 5-10 minute drive. Other places within walking distance from the property include Santana Row, Valley Medical Center and San Jose City College. There’s plenty of access to eateries, grocery stores and fun activities.

Our home has a great outdoor environment. Pets are allowed .

The space - 2000 Square feet:

Our home has 3 bedrooms, including two large master bedrooms (each with a private bathroom).

The kitchen has modern appliances and is stocked with cookware and cutlery for your stay. It also comes with a Keurig coffee machine and k-cups.

The living room is equipped with a large 65” flat-screen TV, complete with cable subscription and Netflix.

The entire house is yours to use. Feel free to use the space as you need! NOTE: There is a in-law unit which is on rental service as well

Getting Around :
The house is located in the heart of San Jose with the Winchester mystery house, Santana Row, the Santa Clara Valley medical center and San Jose City College all within walking distance. SJSU, the SAP center, Santa Clara University and San Jose Airport are all within a 10 minute drive, as is downtown San Jose and all its nightlife and other opportunities. The Ebay office is biking distance away, and Google, Facebook and Apple offices are all a short drive away.

As this house is situated on busy street and provides quick access to major freeways (280, 880 Highway 17, 87 & 101).

Only two car parking in the driveway
Dining opportunities nearby offer a variety of choices, from Chipotle and Panda Express at Valley Fair mall to Steakhouses and other sit down restaurants at Santana Row, all within 3 miles of the house.

If you wish to prepare your own food, Safeway and Grocery Outlet are both nearby.

Not Luxurious
We were disappointed. It was listed as luxurious. It was dirty with lots of bugs, may have been cockroaches. Future renters should know it’s on a busy street. No kitchen towels, no wash cloths, no top sheets, no hand towels, no drinking water, no ice, no Kleenex. It just wasn’t clean nor welcoming.

Not quite as advertised.
Killed a couple roaches in the room I slept in. Place needs a deep clean. Pictures are very deceiving. Only stayed one night. The house was done very poorly. Cheap building materials and also feels like it’s falling apart.

Not quite as advertised
Although the house is centrally located for visiting San Jose area, it didn't live up to the standards of VRBO. A) The place was clean but not well appointed. The house has been cut up into 3 rentals. The garage is a rental space and a new rental is being built which will end up sharing the back yard. So parking is limited. B) the kitchen had one crappy fry pan, two small pots with mismatched lids, no dish towels or hot pads, no paper towels, and Goodwill utensils. C) the washer had stuff in it, the dryer was crammed with what looked like sheets D) the heat didn't work. I called the landlord who said he would come by to look at it. He never called or showed. There is an electric fireplace, which heated the living room, but the bedrooms had no heat E) the furniture is sparse, one couch and 6 dining room chairs to sit on. But that's it. F) they had roach traps around the house. We did kill two on the kitchen counter, but... My family has stayed in many rental properties around the country. This one did not live up to expectations

Beautiful property
Beautiful property on a very busy street down the street from Medical Center and close to all basic needs and tourist things. They are doing some remodeling of the backyard when we stayed, but I can’t wait to see what they do because I do plan on renting this property again for future purposes. Only TV is in the living room which is fine but would have liked one in master room too. Plenty of towels and linens. Washer dryer on site and the kitchen is pretty well stocked

Disaster fire extinguisher empty wet bedding in washer dry things in dryer laundry room? Very dirty filled bucket of lint and other debris on floor. Could not say at all. Had pet with us yard too dangerous for evan a pet. Hope Vrbo shuts this rental down. Owner claimed we " stayed " first night because we opened the door. We did open the door then called VRBO they were great. Owner thumbs down. Be careful what you see on this one is not what you get!

Comfortable But Not Separate
The property is as advertised as far as the provided facilities, HOWEVER, while it's listed on VRBO, it is not a separate space. The garage and another room are blocked from access that are occupied with at least one aggressive dog if you get too close to the door. There was also construction and conversation early in the morning on the weekend just in the backyard. The property contact was also strangely interested in exactly how many people I was bringing and what I was doing there, as he asked several times. If these things wouldn't bother you (they didn't bother us much) , then this is a prime location near Winchester/Santana Row!

Disgusted and displeased
There was a lack of information disclosure that there is a cockroach problem at the Moorpark property. We had to throw out large amounts of food to remedy it. Resulting in about $150 loss of consumables as well as four household that had to take extra measures of their belongings to make sure that cockroaches were brought into their home. We would not have stayed there had we know about the problem. Minor disruption was the incorrect code. Appreciated the understanding of parking situation. The entire stay was less then enjoyable due to the errors and cockroaches we had to throw out a special ordered birthday cake for my daughter we planned on singing happy birthday to in the morning . This due to cockroaches all over. We brought coffee pods and creamers however No one was able to have morning breakfast or coffee due to the Keurig having cockroaches inside of it as well. It was plain disgusting and unacceptable. There was overflowing garbage outside and no room for garbage to be placed. Leaving property in the morning was rushed due to disgust of cockroaches infestation upon waking. I am more than displeased with this.

Don’t waste your money
If you’re looking for the property that is as, advertised look somewhere else. Upon arrival every was tidy, but everything was dirty, the floors, walls and baseboards are especially filthy. When we arrived there was one smoke detector was installed in the home in one bedroom all the others were missing and the one that was there was not working. I contacted the host to let them know I did not feel comfortable staying there without devices, I also let them know that it was also state law to provide them. They eventually came and installed them after some debate and they states the previous guest must taken them out. The washer was broken and had standing water in when we arrived and smelled of mold. They sent a handyman but he was unable to fix it. The dishwasher also had a clog that I mentioned and nothing was done. The listing states they have a kitchen with cookware however there is one pot and one pan not in the best of condition . The backyard doesn’t have grass like in the photos. Also they failed to mention there is a noisy tenant that is living in an apartment attached to the house that only has a door separating you and this person. There are cockroaches and ants everywhere. The house definitely needs a deep clean and an exterminator . I had to ask for a swiffer as there weren’t any cleaning supplies not even paper towels. The house was not evaluated or inspected by the hosts before a new tenant arrived. They stated they have cleaning company and they don’t live on the residence so they have no idea what condition their house is in. Other than the location being convenient there was nothing enjoyable about this stay.
