The Mount, 2 ensuite double rooms by The Royal William Yard

New build constructed in 2019. The 2-bed annex is on the ground floor with its own private entrance. There are two large bedrooms both en-suite. one has a 5 ft double bed and the other has two 3 ft single beds. There is a small separate kitchenette within the hallway. The kitchenette (not a kitchen) includes microwave, larda fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, soup maker, omelette maker, china, cutlery, utensils and a sink. There is underfloor heating with settings in every room. There is also an air exchange system for fresh clean air entering the rooms at the same temperature of the old air that leaves through a different vent. The digs are accessed up a private drive with electric gates with private parking at no extra charge. The Mount is a one minute stroll to the very popular Royal William Yard with restaurants, bars and a small ferry to The Barbican. There is also a walk-on ferry (a two minute stroll) which goes across the River Tamar to Cornwall with lovely walks and Cornish villages and pubs.

Joanna was incredibly helpful before and throughout our stay, suggesting places to visit and how best to get there. She made sure she was there to meet us when we arrived, and even left a birthday card and gift for me which was so thoughtful. We was very impressed with our stay, the property was perfect for us as a family of 4. Lovely spacious bedrooms with very comfy beds& 2 bathrooms. The place was spotless & had everything we needed. Very peaceful with parking& the host was very helpful. kids loved the table tennis. Location was amazing with private access to the royal William yard. Stunning rocky beach a few minutes walk away. We will definitely recommend to others & be back again one day

A very pleasant day

The accommodation was absolutely lovely, but, it is very small, absolutely great as a base for visiting local area. There are two spacious bedrooms and a table with two dining chairs big enough to accommodate two people and a very small sofa. The only thing we missed was a separate room where we could sit down together. But, the accommodation was exactly as it was described. I would highly recommend this venue and the host. .

A beautiful home with all the creature comforts, very close to the beach front and harbour. Amazing views all round with exquisite cuisine located on the doorstep, super friendly area with easy access to the local town centre by car or by a short boat ride. The owner was amazing and very welcoming to our family, we had the best time in a long time away from home, their home felt like our home for the entire stay!

Schƶne Wohnung mit guter Anbindung

Die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage direkt am Royal William Yard, wo es einige Restaurants und Bars gibt. Das Stadtzentrum selbst ist fuƟlƤufig innerhalb von 15 bis 20 Minuten zu erreichen, mit dem Auto deutlich weniger. Zur Wohnung gehƶrt ein Parkplatz, der sich auf dem gleichen GrundstĆ¼ck befindet. Das GrundstĆ¼ck ist jederzeit mit zwei Toren verschlossen, so dass unbefugter Zutritt ausgeschlossen ist. Die Wohnung selbst entspricht den Fotos und hat alles, was man fĆ¼r einen Urlaub benƶtigt. Selbst kochen kann man dort nicht, weil weder Herd noch Backofen verhanden sind, wohl aber Mikrowelle, Toaster und Wasserkocher. Die Vermieterin ist sehr sympathisch und jederzeit verfĆ¼gbar, hƤlt sich aber im Hintergrund. Bei Bedarf hat sie Ausflugstipps und ist auch sonst sehr bemĆ¼ht. Wir hatten uns im Vorfeld mit dem Buchungsdatum vertan und sie hat es vƶllig unkompliziert innerhalb kĆ¼rzester Zeit geƤndert. Auch haben wir ein paar Tage vor der Anreise mehrere Videos von ihr bekommen, wie man aufs GrundstĆ¼ck kommt, parken soll und auch schon einen Rundgang durch die Wohnung fĆ¼r den Fall, dass sie bei unserer Anreise nicht da sein sollte. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und wĆ¼rden die Unterkunft immer wieder buchen. Thanks a lot, Joanna!

Wir hatten die zwei Zimmer fĆ¼r 11 NƤchte gemietet. Diese sind modern und schƶn eingerichtet. Die Lage ist hervorragend, Restaurants gibt es viele die innerhalb von wenigen Minuten zu erreichen sind. Auch ans Meer sind es nur wenige Schritte. Nach wenigen Tagen viel uns allerdings auf das z. B der Staubsauger oder sonstiges reinigungs GerƤt etwas in die jahre gekommen sind oder Ć¼berhaupt nicht funktionierten. Mit einem Kind und zwei Erwachsenen sammelte sich somit in den 11 Tagen einiges an staub und schmutz an. Ebenso steht in der beschrieben das es eine LĆ¼ftungsanlage gibt und man keine Fenster ƶffnen mĆ¼sse, dies hat leider nicht funktioniert und die Fenster liesen sich auch nur minimal ƶffnen, somit war es recht warm in der Wohnung. Die KĆ¼chenzeile steht im Eingangsbereich/Flur, leider hatten wir Ć¼berlesen das es keinen Herd bzw. Backofen gibt. Die zubereitung von Mahlzeiten war somit etwas schwierig.

Family Holiday

Weā€™ve just returned from a lovely week staying at The Mount. The property had plenty of space for our family of four and bonus that each room has its own en-suite with fantastic showers and lots of space for two teenage girls to get ready. The accommodation was very clean and the small kitchen area was perfect for breakfast and snacks with every utensil youā€™d need and an ample size fridge. Although there is no sitting room the bedrooms are large and we managed to sit around the dining table for breakfast and games in the evening. Lots to do in the area and the proximity to Royal William Yard meant we tried every restaurant available and with only a short walk through private drive we felt really spoiled. Great to have parking for free and within a secure drive meant no concerns going out for the day. Joanna was lovely from original booking to our stay and gave us ideas of places to visit and just generally wanted us to have a fantastic holiday and enjoy our stay. I wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay here again and definitely will recommend to others. I canā€™t fault accommodation or our hosts in any way.

Weā€™ve had a lovely stay at Joannaā€™s and Andrewā€™s beautiful house. Very central to all kinds of beautiful trips. We absolutely advice people to stay there. Best stay in Plymouth, great value for money.

A lovely, cosy accomadition with everything there, Great hosts on hand if required and set in outstanding grounds a real idlic location to stay. Minutes from Royal William yard with great transport links of boats, buses and taxis is available. Would highly recommend to all that visit Plymouth and definitely will be staying again.
