Sunrise on Lake Sylvan

Four-season, four-bedroom home with beautiful lake views. All the amenities and the serenity of a secluded location on one of Minnesotaā€™s cleanest, clearest lakes. Everything you need for a family gathering, or friends getaway on the water. Sylvan Sunrise is a gem of a lake house on the shore of Minnesotaā€™s Lake Sylvan, a wonderful retreat for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and more. This beautifully decorated and spacious four-bedroom, three-bath home is perfect for a family gathering or getaway with friends. This wooded location on the point overlooks upper Sylvan Lake, with water clarity to 20-plus feet. Whatever the season, everything you need is onsite, including a wood-burning fireplace, in-home sauna, a game room, an outdoor fire pit, two kayaks, a non-motorized row boat. Relax on the dock and listen to the loons at sunrise and sunset. Gather round the lakeside fire pit for evening conversation. Experience the fishing in deep, clear Sylvan lake. (Large boat rentals are available nearby. We provide a list of options on booking.) This private getaway, minutes from the Brainerd/Baxter area as well as numerous restaurants and golf courses, will not disappoint. Rooms throughout the home look onto the lake. The family room features a two-story vaulted ceiling and wood-burning fireplace. The roomy kitchen includes a double oven, center island, large pantry and new refrigerator. The dining table seats eight and can expand to twelve. The game room offers foosball, ping pong, and the classic Donkey Kong video game. The indoor sauna, heated and ready in 30 minutes, will warm you up after a swim or stroll. WIFI and internet television is available. In the family room and porch, is a great place to read, admire the view, or open the windows and enjoy the breeze on summer evenings. Sleeping accommodations are ideal for 12 in beds. The first floor master bedroom has a queen bed and a master bath with Jacuzzi tub and stand alone shower. On the lofted second level a ā€œfamily roomā€ sleeps eight on two sets of bunks (double beds on the bottom and twins on top) and a queen bed. Two other bedrooms, one with an attached deck, have queen beds. Book now and look forward to your relaxing lakeside break at Sylvan Sunrise. You will not be disappointed!

We enjoyed the location very much, as well as the included watercraft. We had some trouble getting comfortable temperatures between upstairs and downstairs, and it could have been slightly cleaner when we arrived but overall we had a good stay.

Siblings Get-Away

Beautiful setting - loved the woods and winding roads. Wish the weather would have been better, but on the rainy day we spend quality time playing cards and board games. The house has excellent gathering spots perfect for conversation and playing games. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds very comfortable. We were able to have one bonfire by the lake and to grill some steaks outside. All in all a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Read and Rest weekend with the girls

This is a beautiful property. There are many little nooks and seating areas to gather with a small group or have some time alone, both inside and out. The kitchen had all the dishes, pots, pans we needed for our meals and the extra refrigerator and freezer in the game room was so helpful. I stayed upstairs in a room facing the lake and when the sunrise occured it was breathtaking. I 100% recommend Sylvan Sunrise for a little respite in nature and to gather witj those you love!

Look no further!

This property was just as advertised. It was a very quiet location and allowed us to have the privacy we were looking for. It was enough space for a large group to comfortably stay/sleep, and allowed us to have plenty of room for activities like yard games and relaxing outside. Close enough to everything you need in case you forget something too. Jeff was very responsive when we needed something as well. 10/10 would recommend!

Great Stay

Stayed at Sylvan Sunrise for a long family weekend. Great property with a lovely view. The kitchen was very well stocked and easy to use. And the kids had a lot of fun in the game room. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic family getaway

Beautiful, private lakeside getaway for our entire family! Kitchen and pantry were well stocked, beds were comfortable and we loved the three season porch. The kayaks and paddle boards were well used on the super clean lake. Hope to come back again!

Awesome place for the whole family

The property was private. The house was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. We loved that there was plenty of space for our big crew to spread out. The game room was a hit with the kids. We enjoyed the personal watercraft options (kayaks and paddleboards). A few of us paddle-boarded for the first time. So fun! Though the forecast looked a bit iffy, the weather was great! However, even if the weather was poor, we wouldn't have minded too much, because it was such a nice house to be in. It was well stocked with kitchen items, games, etc. The only thing we wished for was a sandy area with shallow water where the really little kids could wade and play in. But other than that we couldn't have been happier with the place. The views were beautiful, and the sounds of the loons were a treat! Thank you for letting stay at your house. It was a five-star venue for family time!

The space was a nice size and layout for our family, but definitely not as clean as I expected it to be. Considering the cleaning fee is so high, I expected a much cleaner house. I would say it was just surface clean, needed a good dusting and vacuuming.

The Perfect Spot!

This property was gorgeous this weekend with the changing leaves, colorful sunrises and sunsets, beautiful moonrises over the lake, and crisp air. The house is spacious with beautiful bedrooms and enough common space for people to spread out, but also enjoy together time. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining room table invites conversation. We should have stayed at least one more night and used the game room and sauna - something for everyone!
