This unit is half of a solidly built duplex maybe 20 yards from a national wildlife refuge at Bandon's Coquille Point. It's got three bedrooms - two with king beds, the third with a queen lower/single upper bunk bed and a stand-alone single bed. All bedrooms are en suite.
It is simply and comfortably furnished, the kitchen loaded with all manner of pots and pans and implements.
The television in the living room requires an engineering degree and three remotes to operate (it defeated us), but you come here to watch the ocean, not the telly.
Managed by the Table Rock Motel a block or so away, it's also got three guest-accessible garage spots which are great in Bandon's often stormy weather.
The management could not be more responsive or more pleasant - just great folks who will treat you like family. Family you actually like.
Two things you should know:
1. As noted, it is NOT fancy. 5-star in this review does not mean "luxurious", it means very satisfactory.
2. From the front door and garage up to the unit there is a quite a steep staircase. Anyone with trouble on stairs should ponder that.
Again, the management is more than willing to help you, to lend you dog towels and beach towels and such, and if there is a maintenance issue they tend to it quickly.
We had two couples over the Christmas holiday and it worked great, and we look forward to going back again.
