Fun funky place with a great lodge
Publicado em 15 de set de 2017Just our kind of place - great price, CLEAN, and NOT your everyday campground. Friendly dogs, cats, and kittens to greet you. We stayed in our tent, but the bathrooms were like new/ remodeled and CLEAN! Lodge is large and filled with everything from a baby grand, foolsball, pool tables, to stuffed cougars and rattlesnake skins. Beautiful and spacious patio area overlooking lake. Dock and swim area - but we didn't have time to enjoy.
Woke up to find goats , donkey's (including a baby), chickens and miniature horses in the ajoining field - friendly and we fed them apples from one of the fruit trees.
Way better than state park and worth the drive - although it's really about the same distance as driving to steam boat rock from grand coulee.

Vantagens: The clean and well equipped room, the view of the Columbia river and the good, hearty meals.
Desvantagens: One small thing in our room.....The cord for the microwave would not reach the outlet.
More attention to the area landscaping
Localização: A good stopping place for a visit to Grand Coulee Dam
First impressions can be deceiving, and that was true in this case. The "ranch" is out in the middle of nowhere and you wonder if you are in the right area. We expected fenced, manicured green fields and grazing animals. Instead we viewed old buildings, manufactured homes, and yards in dissarray in the ranch area.
However, we were greeting warmly by a staff member and shown to our room in one of several bunkhouses in a mowed and landscaped area. The rustic decorated room with adjoining bath was clean and neat. A lot of attention was paid to guest comfort.
The dining hall, a large rustic building with fireplace, sat before us with a panoramic view along the Columbia River. A good dinner of grilled hamburgers, fresh corn, salads and fruit was provided, followed by delicious fresh baked apple cake and blackberry cobbler. Breakfast was good and hearty.
There was a dock area along the river for childrens' activities and fishing. It was pleasant and peaceful to sit and overlook the river from the patio and yard off the dining hall.

Vantagens: SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF
What an awesome time! We took our family of six and they all said they wanted to return. Plenty to do from Archery to Kayaking to large hammocks to relax. Debbie, Hannah, Nicholas and Christian and the entire staff were all very welcoming and super nice. This is an awesome place to come if you want to unplug from everyday life and recharge. And, did I mention, homecooked meals that are included!
We will be back!

Vantagens: I like almost everything about this hotel. Great place for kids (lots of activities for both kids and adults).

Amazing hotel took me back to childhood
Publicado em 15 de ago de 2016Best place we have stayed in a long time. Friendly staff with a ton of activities to do on site. The food was amazing and included in the stay. Beautiful setting, reminded me of summer bible camp.
