Dear Harita,We thank you for your feedback and are sorry your stay was shortened because of car/truck noise. The dates of stay you reserved were non-refundable at the time of booking and occurred during the largest event of the year, which was the Concours car show. Many people were in town with their automobiles, as part of the event. We can assure you this amount of noise is not standard and the room you reserved is one of our quitter rooms. We do not advertise air conditioning. Due to our close proximity to the beach, the average temperature here is 55-65 degrees, which is why most hotels in Carmel don't have air conditioning. Guests may always ask to borrow a fan, which helps some. We are sorry your stay did not meet your expectations and we hope you give us another chance for a better experience.
