Welcome,
 
This house has been recently rebuilt so as to present a familiar and modern environment.
It is composed of two floors.
Both prepared to think about your needs.

On the ground floor you can find:
- The living room, equipped with an LCD TV, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
- Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, dishwasher and washing machine.

On the first floor is where the bathroom is located and the two bedrooms, each equipped with a double bed.

Within less than 200 meters you can find bus stops directly to the main attractions of Sintra, as well as Cascais and Estoril.

Hello!

The house is new with a modern homely feel, and we are sure you will love it.
It's good for families (with kids), business travelers and solo adventurers.

On ground floor you can find:
- The living room, equipped with LCD TV air conditioner and free Wi-Fi that works throughout the house;
- An fully fitted kitchen completely prepared for you to cook your meals. It is equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher and washing machine for you cloths. Everything you need, will be at your disposal.

On first floor you will find a bathroom and 2 bedrooms with a couple-size bed and air conditioner. Each bedroom is bright and airy. One of the bedrooms has a balcony where you can relax looking over Lisbon.

You have free parking if needed.

Less than 200 meters you can find multiple bus stops that can take you to main attractions of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril.

Sintra-charming destination of castles, history and natural beauty.Such a wonderful experience. Visited Portugal top to bottom right from here.Met on arrival by property owner Joao. Welcomed with travesseiros (universally recognized as one of Sintra's greatest delicacies), along with a number of complimentary amenities.The house is comfortable, clean and quiet in a safe neighborhood. Great wifi. Garage is a real asset. Easy cobblestone walk to some wonderful neighborhood restaurants. Joao's recommendations for dining, castles, Christmas Markets and even a fun saloon were spot-on! My favorite Caiscais open vegetable and fish market should be on everyone's list!A great value for the money.

From the beginning, the property mgr was communicative and helpful about bus lines, sites, restaurants...even brought a thermometer over when someone became I'll The space and amenities were perfectly suited to our needs. We were driving so the garage was a big oerk.dgarage was

Host- gave us a nice brief run down on arrival. However, was not super responsive before hand or thereafter. Nice clean place. Bedrooms let in a lot of outside street light and can hear cars drive by.

The property is exactly as described. Spotlessly clean with a comfy bed and quiet. We cooked three dinners while here and had all the kitchen tools needed and a good dishwasher. After our preceding week in Lisbon, we had laundry to do and there was soap for the washing machine and a clothesline out the back door. There are five or six restaurants and coffee shops just a short walk away. For longer trips afield we would summon an Uber and it would be there in 2 minutes. Our host, Joau met us when we arrived and provided all the addresses we needed for shopping and castle visiting. He insisted we check out Caiscai's open air vegetable and fish market and it's one of the best you'll find anywhere. We were VRBO Premium hosts for years and this was the kind of visit we always tried to provide. Doug & Caroline

Great home right in the heart of Sintra. Very clean and well apportioned. Joao was a very good host and had this place looking great. We spent 5 nights here and saw Sintra top to bottom. Also took a couple road trips with our car. The property has a garage which was a very nice addition. We walked to a restaurant within minutes away several times for dinner and it was great. Picnic I believe the name was. All and all a great stay! Highly recommended this property. Thank you Joao!

Joao, our host, Was helpful right from the start. Located in an older village town, most of the houses are rustic, the interior of this apartment was beautiful and modern! Absolutely the best equipped house we've stayed in. Joao has thought of everything you could possibly need, and we even enjoyed a lovely dinner together. The area is walkable to surrounding restaurants and cafes, About a 10 minute Bolt drive to central Sintra and historic areas, but quiet and relaxing. You will not be disappointed with this home. Hope to return again, thank you again. Joao, for your warm hospitality !

Fabulously updated property with garage across the street, close to good coffee and food and walkable to Sintra center. (That does not mean you should expect to arrive by train and walk, take a taxi from the station with your luggage if that is how you are getting here). This was a very good stay, the place is as advertised and I thoroughly recommend it. Take João s recommendations for food seriously, he was right on target for us. Thanks.

Just outstanding. Apartment is clean, nicely decorated, air conditioned, fully loaded with everything what you need and more - starting from toothbrush, ending with espresso machine. John is an excellent host and I really appreciate welcome gift, makes unforgettable stay. Advice: don't believe Google Maps, they are outdated and show incorrect picture of apartment and street. Reality is completely different - there is a nice place to stay in the safe and quiet side of Sintra. Local restaurants (A Mourisca, Cantinho de São Pedro) are good. Apartment is highly recommended.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Llidia's house. Our party, was made up of myself, my husband and our 20 year old son. We contacted Joao once we arrived in Sintra and arranged to meet, at the property. There is parking outside, but he was able to provide parking in his garage as well. We stayed here for four nights, but only spent three days in Sintra. On arrival the house was immaculate, everything we could possibly need. The staircase may not be suitable, for very small children. The interior is modern and furnished to a good standard. The Nespresso machine and pods was a lovely touch and we appreciated the gifts, that Joao gave to us, including wine and the delicious Pastries. Joao was very friendly and went out of his way, by showing us places of interest, local supermarkets and restaurants to try. We walked into the centre of Sintra, takes about 20 minutes, the roads are narrow but easier than taking the car. We visited Palacio de Quinta de Regaleira, Palacio Nacional de Sintra, castle of the moors, Sao Pedro and Palacio Nacional de Pena, We used the hop on hop off bus to get about as it stopped near the house . We visited the Restaurant Apeadeiro for Portuguese food and Harkos for Japanese food, both very good. Could of done with an extra day here as there is plenty to do that we missed.

João (John in english) and his family have provide a wonderful home to stay in Sintra. We felt so welcome. We arrived to warm pastries and John taking the time to tell us about Sintra and answering any question we had about the area. His family owns and runs a fish market at the Market in Cas Cais. Only 20 minutes away. We were invited to visit their fish market and get some fish. We did visit the next day and it was superb. We picked out fabulous fish, with John's help, and had their fish four times for dinner. We cooked Tuna, Sea Bass, Grouper and jumbo Shrimp to die for!  His mother even told us how to prepare fish in a authentic Portuguese style, which we did. Very tasty! The rest of the market was classic European and great to visit. The home has been newly remodeled. It was tasteful and well done.  Easily a great price.  John was an excellent host all week. We had a small problem at one point. John was quick to respond and the item was taken care of quickly.   Stay here and you will be exceedingly happy. Great location in Sintra. It is easy to get to many places and attractions in the area.  Nice job to John and his family.    Thank you Joa.

El alojamiento estupendo, una casita muy acogedora, muy limpia, no le faltaba ningún detalle. Nos tenían unos detalles de bienvenida: vinos tinto, blanco y oporto, café con unos deliciosos dulces y bombones. Equipada con todo lo necesario para el aseo, dormitorios. tv estupenda, etc. Muy contentos

The apartment is really gorgeous and well stocked for anything. Comfortabe, clean and seems brand new. The fabulous nespresso machine was just another touch which added to our stay. I cannot imagine a hotel that could compare to what you offer.

A very well appointed and updated house. Lots of extra amenities including Nespresso coffee, welcome fruit and wine, tons of extra pillows and blankets and bathroom amenities. Icing on the cake was a garage for the car. The house is located about 1.4 km from downtown. We found it to be an easy walk into town and a cheap Uber ride home after dinner. A very nice quiet location with easy access to all of Sintra. We loved the nearby Japanese restaurant, Harko, that was only 5 minutes walk down the street in a little village with other good bakeries and restaurants.
