The Love Shack! Hot Tub, Great Couples Get Away!

Experience the perfect couple getaway! You'll find this stylish, fun, & charming space the perfect place to spend time w/your loved ones. Located 5 minutes away from downtown youā€™ll be close to everything but far enough to enjoy a relaxing trip. Our property is located just a few blocks from the Water Tower Pub, you would be able to walk to the bar & enjoy a few drinks! If you like donuts there is a cute, local donut shop right at the end of the street!
- Do NOT park on road or in neighbors' way!
ļ»æ- All furniture must be put back where it is found!
ļ»æļ»æļ»æ- No Shoes on while inside the home
- Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM
- Please respect our neighbors by not having loud music or by yelling and using profanity (many are permanent residents!)
ļ»æ- Garbage must be bagged up, put into trash bins at the end of the drive way at departure.
- You must be 25 or older to rent this cottage
- Please note: RVs, tents, and campers are not permitted at our homes. Failure to comply will result in applicable fees.

Lexington hide-away

Perfect for a quick get-away with my hubby! The hot tub was fantastic! Neighborhood is quiet and well kept, and Lake Huron (with public access) is a block away.

Great Little Getaway, Cute towns!!

This little cottage is so cute and perfect for just two people. It's close to so many local places (Lakeview donut shop was sadly closed and for sale) and walking distance from the water! The hot tub is a nice touch and although its not covered and there's neighbors, it still felt pretty private/relaxing. If you like coffee/tea I highly recommend Lexington Coffee Co and for a good burger and/or good fish and chips, Lakeport Tavern is a must-their service was awesome too!! Id love to return to this place in the summer when I can enjoy the water!!

Cute cottage for a couple looking to stay in Lexington. Quick 5 minute drive into downtown. 5-10 minute walk to beach. Very clean and great communication.

Cute and Mostly Comfy

The location is great and is perfect for 2 people. We enjoyed being so close to the water and the cabin has everything you need. We only had one issue and that was the bed was uncomfortable. However the property manager has been super easy to communicate with and assures me they will work to improve the bedding situation. Overall it was a wonderful place.

Great location!

Just a short walk to your private beach. At least we were the only ones hanging out one afternoon so it felt private to us. An hour drive to Port Austin and several other cities and about a 10 minute drive to downtown Lexington.

Perfect weekend getaway

Exactly as advertised, this little cottage was so cute and very clean! In a great location, we were able to walk to the lake, or drive into Lexington to eat/shop. Port Huron is an easy 30 minute drive away with lots of great restaurants and shops. The cottage had everything you could possibly need and was decorated very nicely. Would definitely book again.

Great for getaway weekend

Needed a weekend away for my husband and myself. The house is the perfect size for 2 people. Only issue we had was the house was pretty cold when we arrived and the furnace was not kicking on. We reached out to the property manager and the issue was fixed before we returned from dinner. House was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely rent this property again!

The house is clean and cute, perfect for a couple or small family ā€” it has a cabin-like vibe (and even smell). Communication with the owners was great as they were always quick to reply, and check-in was super easy. They offered beach towels, beach umbrella, and a BBQ pit which was great. Thereā€™s not a ton to do in Lexington, just a few good restaurants and cute shops, but if youā€™re looking for chill vibes and days at the beach itā€™s the perfect getaway. Only reco for the host is to add ā€œBlack Out Curtainsā€ in the room, and living room. We love to sleep in and the sun had us up by 7AM each day.
