Best value for price I have ever seen

By far the best value for money I had two aircorns and the very big and unique swimming pool with glas on the one side was a treat The service was very good and they even have a free taxi to sertain locations I have booked several hotels in Thailand with more or less the same budget and this hotel stood like a pole above water Lovely buffet breakfast with many dishes to choose from I hoghly recommend this hotel, you won't be dissapointed

We got our room, but we left for another hotel

Unless you have a car, this hotel is very far from the main attractions. On Expedia, it's written that Aspira offers free area and Shopping shuttle. However, it has only 3 departures, it only goes to Chaweng Beach under reservation and no return (you have to return by taxi), It's even dangerous to walk since there are no sidewalk. We booked for a king size bed room, but we got 2 twin beds and we're told to put them together to get a bigger bed. Also, On the same day of the arrival we've booked to go to another hotel. This places is not recommended if you're planning to walk to get to places.

Value for money

Stayed here a few times and found it to be handy. Having transport would help as it is a little way from the main road, but it's within walking distance. I stayed in the deluxe room.

The pictures are very deceptive, looks like a gorgeous resort style hotel, the reality is quite different. It's not walking distance to food outlets or anything of interest, so unless you have your own transport (scooter) or are happy to pay for taxi's everywhere, it's not suitable for most. The pool looked very pretty but was too cold to swim in for the 5 days we stayed. The wifi worked intermittently, ended up easier to just use a prepaid Thai sim as it was faster. One night we asked the desk if we could borrow cutlery and they said they didn't have any, even though we used it that morning at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was prepared in the underground carpark then transferred into bain maries that weren't heated, so the sausages, eggs, ham, noodles, soups etc were all cold. The water pressure was non-existant or would blast so hard it would shoot the shower head backwards. The shower heads themselves are in need of replacement as they're horribly corroded. The day we were leaving the staff were not helpful at all (pencilling in their eyebrows and playing on their phones behind the reception desk) we were told the taxi we booked in advance the previous evening for the airport that morning was sent off with other people in it. Also cost 400 Baht, paid to the hotel, I'm told it would've been cheaper if we'd just ordered it ourselves. The staff make promises, knowing they can't deliver, we were lied to on more than one occassion. Don't stay here!
