Cozy Cabin for the Outdoor Enthusiast

Beautifully crafted cabin in the subdivision of Jefferson Heights. Easy access to Hwy 285, easy commute to Denver, close to skiing and world-class fishing. Main level is a cozy living area, kitchen, dinette, full bath, and bedroom. Upper level is the roomy master loft with a sleeper sofa. Beautiful lot with unsurpassed views, and a spacious meadow below frequented by elk, deer, and antelope.

WIFI with a smart TV.

60 minutes from 470 and 285, 20 minutes to Fairplay , and 60 minutes to Breckenridge.

4wd/AWD may be required during Winter months.

Perfect anniversary trip

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. Everything was perfect. The view from the front door of the cabin was amazing. Hosts were fantastic. Couldn't ask for more!

This was about the 5th or 6th time my buddy and I have stayed at the Cabin. Do it twice a year. Hiked part of the Colorado Trail; played Backgammon; caught up and told stories; and slow smoked some baby back ribs on the BBQ. Housekeeping is at a new level as we found the Cabin in immaculate condition. The new spa was also a delight since Park County has dark skies designation. Already booked our September stay. Hosts are great and really make the trip relaxing with no surprises - except for the Moose and her calf that paid a visit one evening as we were preparing dinner. AMAZING!

Thank you for a great 3 night stay. Loved the hot tub and entire space was very clean and well equipped with all the comforts of home. Upstairs bed is very comfortable

Fall colors in the high country

Another of our semi-annual trips to the cabin. Instead of fishing this time, we simply hiked around each day in the Jefferson Lake Rec Area in the Aspens; smoked some outstanding baby back ribs on the gas grille; enjoyed our 2- person backgammon tournament; and ended each day gazing at the Milky Way in the hot tub on very clear moonless nights. Absolutely perfect venue to relax and enjoy a real gem of a log cabin. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Another great fishing Base Camp

Two fishing buddies hanging out for the week fishing, cooking, backgammon, and (re)telling old stories in the hot tub while stargazing at the Milky Way. Great venue with its solitude and remoteness, but great access to several rivers and Jefferson Lake for fishing and hiking. Will definitely rebook for our fall trip. The cabin is very well equipped so all we brought was fishing gear and food.

Awesome Getaway

Enjoyed area hiking, fly fishing and just driving around the area. The property was just the right size, very clean, warm, and adequately stocked. We didnā€™t get to try the hot tub, but it did look very inviting. The host was terrific and always available.

Anniversary trip in a fantastic Cabin!

The pictures donā€™t give this wonderful cabin justice. I knew the view was wonderful, but once you are there in person, itā€™s captivating! I stared at it for hours. The cabin itself was very warm and inviting, make this a perfect retreat for those wishing to unplug. Be prepared to see some elk roaming the front yard! Itā€™s a quick drive down the road for all that Fairplay has to offer. If you are looking to do some horseback riding, make sure to get in touch with Ella at Red Valley Rebels. We will be returning every year for as long as they let us!!!! Donā€™t wait, just book it and you will have no regrets.

Great base camp for fishing

Outstanding log house - seemed brand new. Colorado rustic with high-end comfort. Well outfitted with the essentials you would expect. Within 10 minutes to Jefferson Lake Rec area (hiking, fishing, boating, picnics, photography) and several other area small creeks for Brookies and Brown trout. Wildlife abounds (elk, moose, and more). Host very friendly, accessible and helpful. Two bedrooms worked well for me and my fishing buddy. We cooked all our meals in the well-equipped kitchen and outside BBQ grill. Will use for our Park County fishing venue from now on. WIFI is a very nice touch.

This cabin is so beautiful and perfect. The pictures are exactly what the cabin looks like. Very clean and the owners were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Get away weekend

My friend and I rented this cabin for a weekend getaway and it was all we could ever want and more! The Mountain View from the beautiful big windows was breath taking, the wooden architecture of the cabin is lovely, overall it was the perfect cozy cabin weekend! The owners were very sweet and easy to talk to for any questions we had! I highly recommend staying here :)

Wow,What a wonderful property!

Yes the pictures are real!We really enjoyed our stay at this property.The host was easy to get hold of and the cabin was beautiful.The amenities were truly 5 star and the views were amazing .The drive was easy to Brekenridge and worth the extra drive to stay at this place for the money!
