Excellent place to get away in Bay Area
Publicado em 20 de set de 2023 na HomeAwayThis is a nice place for a couple of friends to get away while still being close to Bay Area. A short drive from Half Moon Bay and Purisma Creek. It's a nice simple bunkhouse with a solid kitchen, a grill, and a living space. It's a bit of a drive off the main highway, but worth it for the beautiful landscape that you can access on country roads and trails.

Great and secluded
Publicado em 8 de set de 2023 na HomeAwayI really enjoyed our stay! It was a cute cabin and lots of nice walking for us and our puppy. The only thing is it is off the beaten path and the road to get there is very narrow and a bit scary!
However, the actual property is super cute and I liked how it felt far away from everything. My puppy enjoyed the cows and horses that were on nearby properties :)

The property is beautiful, and has a number of hiking trails around the area. Very peaceful! Also a quick drive to a number of beaches and towns.

Girls Weekend
Publicado em 10 de ago de 2023 na HomeAwayThe Bunkhouse was the perfect setting for a weekend getaway. Great location and just 15 min to downtown HMB. Steve is very communicative and always checked-in to see if everything was all right. If you're lucky to join him on his daily Goat walks- I highly recommend it. You might bring extra kitchen supplies and your own drinking water. The drive up Lobitos Creek Road can be a little tricky but recommend driving on Tunitas Creek Road as it has fewer blind turns.

Quiet & Relaxing Getaway

Great place for me and the dogs to get a quiet, peaceful retreat in with all the nessesary amenities. Loved the fenced-in dog run for the dogs to play in, the trails on the property and the main road was nice for walking too. Enjoyed it very much, and will be back again soon.

Little dirty

So it doesn't get stuffy and bugs stay out. Couch mattress was stained. Overall we had a good time and host was very nice. We would stay again.
