Semi-secluded 3 Bed, 2 bath Family Villa with Pool & Gardens

This wonderful villa is situated on Urb. Don Pedro, one of the best Urbanisations in Estepona. It offers well maintained tranquil accommodation perfect for families with 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 furnished with a Kingsize bed (150cm) and the 3rd with twin beds which may be zipped together to make a 180cm bed. Each room contains built in cupboards. There is also a fold-up bed that can be added to the twin room as well as a cot and high chair.
There are 2 bathrooms, a lounge/dining area with quality furniture and 37 inch TV with Blu-ray player.
A kitchen furnished with an American style fridge/freezer, double oven, 4-burner gas hob, washing machine and dishwasher. A tap also provides filtered drinking water. From the sink there are also panoramic views of the western Mediterranean, Gibraltar and the North African coast. With a terrace offering shade from the sun complete with 6 seater teak table, and a BBQ. The terrace also provides access down to the 8 metre x 4 metre swimming pool with steps providing easy access to the water. Around the pool is a sunbathing area with sunloungers, umbrellas, an outside shower and toilet. Sunlounger and seat cushions are contained in the terrace storage unit.

Please Note that the villa is situated within a residential area and there are strict noise controls. The villa is NOT suitable for party groups and the police WILL be called if noise exceeds limits.

Shopping and Browsing: Estepona marina with it's pretty shops, bars and restaurants is close by and the typically Spanish Estepona Old Town is 5 minutes away. Puerto Banus and Marbella are 20 minutes away with their exclusive boutiques and department stores. Open-air markets are extremely popular, and they include Puerto Banus (Saturday), Sabinillas (Sunday morning), Sotogrande (Sunday afternoon), and Estepona (Wednesday).
Enjoy all the busy life of Estepona and come back to the peace and tranquillity of Casa Lechuza.

Selwo Park: Just 12 kms away, about 10mins by car, is the Selwo Adventure park with it's lions, giraffes, zebra and other animals. Take a safari and see the animals roaming free.

For your comfort. Air-conditioning units are installed in each bedroom.

Children.
A High Chair and Cot can be requested for use, free of charge. However, renters should provide their own linen for the cot (60 x 120cm).

The property is Registered with the Andalusian Tourist Agency. VFT/MA/28293.
It is a legal requirement that we have to register the details of all adult (over 16 years of age) guests with the local Authorities.

During the current Corona Virus pandemic. If any booking cannot be taken due to government restrictions then all monies will be returned 100%.

We enjoyed our stay but feel the villa could do with an update especially the bathrooms. The pool was wonderful especially with a choice of having it heated ! Aldi down the road was great. A car is a must if staying here.

Good size pool however the villa is very tired and we spent the first day sourcing alternative accommodation and we moved out the same day. The kitchen appliances were all unclean. Not much more to say.

Unfortunately our holiday was very disappointing and not as enjoyable as we would expected. The swimming pool water turned green and was left unattended for two days despite owner promising to send someone out to clean. He also commented that we could use the pool as long as we just rinsed off thoroughly after use. Our 11 year old granddaughter cut her foot getting out of the pool on one of two broken tiles on the steps of the pool. Our shower did not drain so we were forced to stand in our own wastewater. The owner stated that this was because the waste pipe was too small a gauge and would be too big and timely a job to put right. The parasol for the garden was broken and un usable and the sun bed cushions were so dirty that it was an insult to suggest that clients could have the use of them.The single bed was unstable and rickety such that our granddaughter had to sleep on the sofa each night. We also asked to wait in for delivery of a dishwasher which we did, despite the delivery not happening and instead arriving on another day altogether, where we were then expected to wait in while installation took place. This was our holiday and requests such as this are totally unwarranted.Finally it should be noted that we did not have use of either washing machine or dishwasher, as advertised for use, for the entire duration of our stay. To conclude, we have photographic evidence to support the above.

Lovely place to stay, quiet and relaxing. Pool is great. There are a couple of restaurants near by but you will need a car or public transport to get to the main part of Estepona. Beach is about a five minute walk away, just over the bridge. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Villa itself is basic but very clean outside area is lovely couldnā€™t get our son out of the pool. Burger King, chemist and supermarket within 5 min walk. If you cross over the rd and walk between nudist resort and hotel and turn left you can walk along the beach all the way to the port with restaurants and bars. Would have been nice if someone had greeted us at villa and told us about local area as we only realised we could walk all the way down a couple of days before leaving. Martin was great with communication though.

FĆ¼r den Kontakt mit Martyn und Maria geben wir volle Punktzahl. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und es lief alles reibungslos. Leider entspricht der Zustand des Hauses nicht den im Internet abgebildeten Darstellungen. Diese mĆ¼ssen schon etwas Ƥlter sein. Wir hƤtten das Haus nicht , vor allem nicht fĆ¼r den Preis gebucht, wenn wir aktuelle Bilder gesehen hƤtten. Positiv ist zu vermerken, dass alles vorhanden ist, was man in einem Ferienhaus benƶtigt. Allerdings haben wir das Geschirr, was wir benutzen wollten, erst einmal gereinigt. Wir haben auch ansonsten nur den Wasserkocher und den KĆ¼hlschrank genutzt. Die KĆ¼chenausstattung ist Top, allerdings hatte der Backofen alte Fettablagerungen. AuƟen und Innen ist das Haus in die Jahre gekommenen. Klar ist, das sich so ein Mietobjekt abnutzt, aber hier besteht doch Sanierungsbedarf in allen RƤumen, vor allem in den BƤdern. Auf der Terrasse , die man schƶn gestalten kƶnnte, standen ein ausrangierter KĆ¼hlschrank und alles wirkte sehr ungemĆ¼tlich. In dem abgebildeten Vorraum waren ein Zustellbett und Kindermƶbel abgestellt, eher wie eine Abstellkammer, kein einladender Empfang. Die Mƶbel und die Ausstattung waren leider auch nicht ansprechend. Die GittertĆ¼r zur Terrasse lieƟ sich nur halb ƶffnen. Wir haben es sein lassen und sind dann durch die KĆ¼chentĆ¼r nach drauƟen gegangen. Wir haben den direkten Vergleich mit einem gleich ausgestatteten Tophaus, das wir im letzten Jahr zur gleichen Zeit in Torrox fĆ¼r den halben Preis gemietet haben.

Excepto la cocina, el resto del mobiliario necesitarĆ­a una remodelaciĆ³n. La comunicaciĆ³n no fue del todo correcta. Entiendo que la persona que lleva la casa tenĆ­a problemas, Un dĆ­a estuvimos toda la maƱana y parte de la tarde sin agua, lo comunicamos a primera hora y no sabĆ­an cĆ³mo resolvernos el problema. Gracias a la vecina (persona sĆŗper amable y servicial) que pudo ponerse en contacto con el propietario y nos dio la soluciĆ³n. En la zona de la piscina hay parte del mobiliario que estĆ” viejo.

Hemos estado muy agusto y relajados los dĆ­as que hemos disfrutado de la Casa, que es mucho decir en una situaciĆ³n posconfinamiento. Casa amplia, buen salĆ³n, excelente cocina y mejor porche. Los baƱos limpios. Comentar que los cuartos no son muy grandes y la casa es ya antigua. La piscina estupenda con un aseo pero con un acceso de escaleras a tener en cuenta si vas con niƱos pequeƱos. Bien comunicado con Estepona y Supermercados. La playa cerca si vas andando, pero teniendo en cuenta que hay que pasar por un nivel encima de carretera con mucho trĆ”nsito. En general Ć³ptimo y apuntado en nuestra agenda de lugares donde hemos estado fenomenal.

Exactly as advertised. Lots of room and privacy. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds. The pool was a great touch. Made my day to have a swim everyday. Green space within the yard. Close to a couple reasonable supermarkets. Access to downtown Estepona is an hours walk or a five minute drive. Nice town; lots to see and do. Numerous small places to stop for tapas and a drink. Highly recommend Casa Lechuza!! Thanks Martyn
