Hotel muito bem localizado, infelizmente dava para ouvir muitos ruidos dos outros quartos. Solicitamos o late check-out para descansarmos um pouco mais mas nesse tempo solicitado a mais a camareira veio por 3 vezes bater na porta do nosso quarto, explicamos q iríamos sair mais tarde na recepção um dia antes e para ela mas ela insistiu em continuar batendo em nossa porta!

Pool closed due to construction
Hotel staff were very nice. The pool was shut down for construction and we weren’t aware of this until after paying and getting to the property. That’s the main reason we come is for the pool and beach access. Overall decent hotel.

this was a last minute plan by my husband . we got a room late saturday night to wake up to the beautiful beach off of our balcony . unfortunately we have a 1 year old so i was happy they had a pool and served breakfast . the room was pricey but for a nice hot meal and everything it was worth it . when i received the email after purchasing the room it had no say so of the pool being down and no served breakfast . yes i seen it was under serious construction but no where did it say everything was down . also i am a house keeper for residential commercial and construction and our room was disgusting . really wish to have had a better stay

Never again
The bathroom was disgusting. Looked like blood and dried urine on the floor. No weatherstripping around outer door so you could see daylight and hear all of the traffic. Very dim lighting ..maybe so you couldn’t see how dirty it was

Advertised breakfast but sign up in office said they no longer had the breakfast. Doing construction and started work at 8:00 am. Couldn’t sleep. No coffee pot in room and no coffee in lobby. Doors were hard to open and sliced my finger trying to close the door. Room smelled of dog pee. I would not have stayed if I didn’t prepay on the app. Men on crane right outside our window and able to see in. Very disappointed.

Awful! Don't waste your money, through this site
Building is under construction. No breakfast as advertised. No coffee. We paid for an ocen view, but have a view of parking lot. Black out curtains don't block sunlight. Dirty, noisy, uncomfortable. Not the fun, relaxing family weekend we promised our kids. Also, the hotel.com price was way over what the hotel would've charged. Waste of money &time!

RUN!!! This place is not at all as described! Most rooms are open- meaning no windows or doors! There is NO breakfast as mentioned or even coffee!!! The carpets are frightening and the odors...well that’s a whole other situation I don’t want to describe. Booked an hour out for 2 rooms w my beloved grandchildren after traveling 23 hours from Michigan.. the ONLY redeeming feature were thank GOD the beds were new... this was definitely NOT worth the price... Enraged by the audacity to rent these rooms! RUN!!! Stay in your car! I wish we would’ve! 😡

Under going renovations so nothing was available bathroom in my hotel room was moldy, the front desk manager however was very accommodating and waved a resort fee because of this and was upfront about the fact they were undergoing renovations to the property. I feel that Orbitz should not be marketing these kinds of hotels because people from out of town have no way of knowing beforehand.

Do not stay here!!!
When we arrived we were told unexpectedly that the hotel is under renovation. Pool was closed, no breakfast available and only a handful of rooms in the hotel were in use. The remaining rooms (bulk of the hotel) were gutted and the place looked like a slum. We decided to make the best of it, but the room condition was horrible. Clearly barely cleaned or tended to and very dated. I can handled "dated" if it is kept up - and it wasn't. It was a terrible stay and it cost us almost 1000$ for 3 nights. If it hadn't been Daytona 500 race weekend we would have certainly demanded a refund and stayed elsewhere. Sadly for that weekend there are virtually no vacancies in Dayton and we had travelled 1600 miles to be there. The customer service was very lack luster and no one even asked about our stay. There was construction debris everywhere and overall the place was awful.

The staff and beach were great. The hotel was under construction and so there shelled out rooms and it seemed dangerous to walk through construction zones. I would be willing to stay there again after the construction and remodel.

Not as advertised, something's missing!
This hotel is going through MAJOR Renovations. Be aware hotel is not as shown or advertised and yet they charge full price and don't tell you any of this till you walk through the doors and see they are in a mess. It's a little too late to find another booking at that point.

Goodbye to a great place
Was always my favorite but being remodeled into a plush resort. Now it will be out of my budget. Gone is the good breakfast and area is torn apart. Very few guests. No coffee on site. It is the end of an era for me. Like the $3 charge to park on the beach. The staff as always are polite, professional and personal. Especially Rhonda who was always most helpful. It was so bad I checked out a day early and the cost of one night not used was my goodbye. I will miss the old place.

Being on the beach was the ONLY good thing. Key card did not work; toilet so loose it felt like it was going to fall over; chicken bones on bathroom floor; place was very run down; carpet wet. It would have been helpful if Expedia and hotel website would have said the place was being remodeled. Would never stay here again.

While our proximity to the beach area was an advantage, it saddens us to know of the other aspects of your stay that were less than perfect. Rest assured, your concerns will be discussed with the right departments for the benefit of future guests. Also, we will work better on communicating our policies and updates. Wow!
When we first arrived we noticed right away the place was in the middle of a remodel. The check-in process was good and staff was friendly. We got to the room and it was disgusting. The floor was incredibly dirty. There was food and other things on the floor from a previous guest. It took the hotel about a day and a half to get it vacuumed up. We went and actually bought house shoes from Wal-Mart due to the floors being so dirty. There is no telling if the bed sheets had been changed before our arrival. The bed sheets were old and had stains on them. The sheets were also not changed during our entire stay. The faucet in the kitchenette did not work for the first 2 days of our stay. Early in the morning contractors worked on rooms directly next to us throughout the day. The ceiling in the bathroom began to leak water onto the toilet area at one point and maintenance had to be called. The leak stopped but the source of it was not found. The breakfast was mediocre and was the same thing every morning . The only good thing about this place was the location. There is a staircase directly to the beach.
