This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops ā€“ including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques ā€“ as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

More than expected.

My wife and I stayed here for our 21st wedding anniversary. It was clean and ready to go with no issues. Pictures of the property were accurate. It was conveniently located within walking distance of just about everything we wanted to see. Obviously, driving was needed for some things. The off street parking spot was convenient and the neighborhood was quiet. It had plenty of natural light and a complete kitchen which was more than we needed. The bed was too soft for us but you can't please everybody. I would recommend this property and will consider staying there again.

Beautiful property with excellent location

My husband & I stayed in the Cosy Downtown carriage house for the July 4th week. The property is spacious and well appointed. We loved the downstairs living space combined with the upstairs large bedroom and bath. The location is ideal not only for walking to restaurants and shops in historic Charleston, but itā€™s close location to highways made for a very quick commute to Mount Pleasant, Sullivanā€™s Island and Isle of Palm. Off street parking was also a bonus. Highly recommend!

It was wonderful to have our own place which was cute, comfortable, quiet, and in a safe neighborhood. The location was walking distance to great shops and restaurants on King street. Also small neighborhood restaurants. And a huge plus was having off street parking. Would love to stay here again in the future. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Great location and very clean!

We enjoyed this property. Loved having two floors and the property was very clean, well stocked with soaps, towels and extra bonus coffee which is a wonderful perk! Everything worked well and very spacious! No closets but easy to accommodate.

Amazing honeymoon experience!

This location is so amazing! Itā€™s within walking distance to so many things including a mini bar, bookstore, coffee shop, Chubby Fish, Vernā€™s, pizza joint and candle shop! None of them took more than 5 minutes to walk to!

Great Property

Great property with great location. Few comments. First, nowhere to hang anything. No coat tree, no hangers upstairs. Rather inconvenient. Also, upstairs sink area needs a pullout mirror. Difficult to shave or put on makeup with only the side mirror and the room itself does not have good lighting to do it anywhere else. Would stay again if these two things are done.

Retreat in Charleston

We did love the size and the cleanliness. It was an unusually cold week in Charleston and the lower level did not heat up as well as the upstairs, even when we closed the doors at the bottom of the stairs. Never figured out how to turn on the lights over the sink but we loved the kitchen. When coming inside the unit had a Smokey smell like someone had smoked something inside.

This was a great location and comfortable place to stay. The bed was pretty comfortable, and it was nice to have the living room space and extra half bath. Loved the Elliottborough mini bar next door!
