A estada no Bakadeer Inn foi tranquila, embora o hotel tenha uma estrutura realmente simples. A localização do hotel não é exatamente a melhor, mas é possível locomover-se a pé até o centro e a área turística. Diz-se que há risco de caminhar na área à noite e realmente os belizenhos te forçam a fazer contato quando percebem que é estrangeiro. Quanto à cidade, Belize City não tem muitos atrativos e, se pudesse reprogramar a cidade, teria ficado em algum lugar mais turístico como Caye Caulker ou San Pedro.

Disappointing Belize City one night stay
Really disappointing, the hotel had a toilet brush in the bathroom that was covered in number 2 and stunk out the bathroom. The sheets had greasy stains and the towels were very old and ripped we couldn't use them. It was so expensive as well for what we got. Would not recommend. The staff seemed nice enough and were helpful.

Do not stay here!
It was a very scary place. Our room had no hot water, we could not control the air conditioning and only had a sheet on the bed. The mirror above the bed and disco lighting confirmed our thoughts that this was a brothel.

The room was dirty, bug infested and bleak. The beds did not even have a top sheet - just a bottom sheet and a dirty bedspread! We also rented a car from them - when we got to the car we found it absolutely filthy inside and out. When we asked for a different car, we were told there were no other cars available. As we had an appointment, we took the car as is. It was dead empty of gas and every single light in the dash was on. The brakes squealed as they were shot and the front end of the car felt like it was going to drop out! What a nightmare. When we returned, shaken to the hotel and asked to speak with the owner - he initially refused to talk to us and when he finally did he told us that Belize is a third world country and we should expect that kind of car. A total disaster and I want to warn all other unsuspecting customers to run, not walk away from a stay at The Best Time Inn, Belize!

Thank you for your review but your review is all fake because your tip my worker $10 in the morning and he is the person cleaning room and when you Rent-A-Car and use it for nine hours you can t get money back and the way he was asking for the Owner wasn’t professional and you should read the contract before you rent a car and you drive the car to the gas station and if you have any problem you should bring the car back not use the car for nine hours and I tried to scam me thank you

Friendly, helpful people. Breakfast was white bread/toast, peanut butter, jelly, butter or peanut butter, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, O.J. and bananas. The location is in a run down area of the city, "adventurous" but for me, too adventurous.

OK stay. The room needs improvement.
The guys who work the front desk are really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking to both of them. They are locals. The owner is from Jordan, and was trying to sell us the hotel for 700k USD, which was a bit odd.. The room itself however was rather run down. The room was humid and smelled like mold. They did not allow open windows, so I am guess that is why. Turning on the AC helped a bit. But I suggest that they install screens and then let people open the windows. The bathroom had cockroaches, but the owner told us that is because if the season. I am not sure if that was acceptable. Breakfast was simple, coffee, toast (butter, peanut butter and jam), eggs and bananas. They have car rental on site, but it was not cheap. We used CarOne instead. But we were able to park right across the street which was awesome.

Nous n’avons séjourné qu’une seule nuit mais cela correspondait à nos attentes : de plus , petits services rendus très appréciables ( changement de chambre car la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas, réception et appel pour nos valises restées en transit depuis la France , petit dejeuner simple mais convivial ( on se débrouille) Donc réponse à nos attentes , et très bon accueil de l’ensemble du personnel, aux petits soins

This part of town was terrifying, we had to be back in our room before dark or we were told we would robbed or worse. This was an eye opening experience in the worst way. TV didnt work, ants everywhere. We had booked 4 nights in total and only stayed 1 of the nights. The staff was friendly, only pausative of this place.

Located in a terrible run down area of the city. Could not cancel our reservation. We immediately left. Would not recommend that Orbitz advertize BEST TIME INN. The property/building is rundown.

The owner and his on-site employer were extremely helpful but there was little to do in that particular area. The room was very clean but the facilities were worn. The photo is accurate and the wall is painted as shown. The window looked out into a walled covered area, open to anyone in the hotel and so drapes had to be drawn all times it made the room dark and closed in. There was a wonderful restaurant within walking distance from the hotel right on the river which was lovely. I would suggest that the owners make this information available at check-in. Walking in this area, is extremely hazardous due to sidewalks that are very uneven, filled with holes and run alongside some kind of concrete drainage and so you have to look down all the time. The owner rents cars and is good about directions but has only two brochures to things you can do in the area.

I was able to check in before the check-in time and the staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed. This property was under renovation and one staff member told me they were thinking about putting a refrigerator in each room, that would be nice as I had to use the one in the lobby and a microwave is in the lobby. The room was a decent size. Overall I was satisfied Cons: no hangers, no refrigerator, no safe, one side of the mattress was worn down when sitting on it as if I weighed a 1000 lbs

Das Hotel wurde gerade erst verkauft und steckt mitten im Umbau. Statt diese Information mitzuteilen und das Hotel für 2 Wochen zu schließen, wurde ich in die Baustelle einquartiert. Es gab keine Reinigung des Zimmers, es war niemand an der Rezeption. Einmal kam ich vom Ausflug zurück und das Hotel war geschlossen, so dass ich später nochmal zurück kommen musste.

Clean and close to everything
This room was better than we expected. It was immaculately maintained. The room was small, but had everything we needed. It was walking distance to some great restaurants and to grocery stores. The hotel provides a simple breakfast of coffee, tea, juice, toast, cereal, cheese, and fruit. It was everything we needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will stay again. Fantastic price and quiet. The cleanliness was astonishing!

The room was very basic, quite dated. We did not put anything in the closet because there were damp spots.we saw the outside around the air co. There was only one blanket for us 4 and it was not very fresh and clean. No shower gel and conditioner, no tumbler for toothbrushes, and no air dryer, no microwave, no small percolator. There was breakfast, tea,only Nescafe style, which is not very good! We had bread, jam, butter, a pitcher with cereals, bananas and another fruit of the day, a pitcher of orange juice and a milk carton. It was not in individual version, the butter and jam was the same during our stay, which is not very hygienic.The breakfast room smells of moisture. the flow of the water was very weak, not obvious to wash your hair and water barely warm. There is no parking, we park in the street. The only thing really positive is the kindness of the manager and the receptionist. We are not difficult but have been greatly disappointed.
